Short-Form Video Editor (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube)

We’re looking for a production-driven video editor who takes real pride in the craft and has already sharpened their skills by editing short-form content that gets watched and gets results.

Birthing Wonder & Co. is the company behind The Pregnancy Experience, a keepsake pregnancy journal and companion brand serving expecting moms. We're creating content that encourages, educates, and connects with women during one of the most meaningful seasons of their lives. Our content is how we reach moms, and our goal is to turn that attention into scaling the brand through sales of our first book.

What you’ll do

Take our existing content and repurpose it into short-form videos for Facebook , Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts
Produce 4 to 6 videos per day, with a monthly goal of 80 to 100 publish-ready videos
Write and edit strong hooks that stop the scroll in the first 1 to 3 seconds
Add captions, pacing, b-roll, music, and transitions that keep viewers watching
As long as work stays quality, using a repurposing tool to speed up production while still applying your own editing judgment
Research what’s working on each platform (trends, formats, hooks, pacing) and adapt our content to fit each channel
Edit with one goal in mind: driving clicks, interest, and sales for our products

Requirements

You must have your own workstation (a reliable computer that can handle video editing) and your own editing tools and software
Stable, fast internet connection
Proven experience editing short-form video (please include a portfolio or samples) (some long form videos as well)
A strong understanding of hooks, retention, and what makes content perform on each platform
Familiarity with tools like CapCut, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar, plus AI repurposing tools
Self-starter who researches independently and doesn’t need hand-holding
Fast, consistent, and reliable with daily output
Good English communication
A heart for mothers, families, and purpose-driven work is a big plus

Details

Pay: $175 per month for roughly 2 hours of work per day
Schedule: flexible, but daily output is expected
Long-term opportunity with room to grow as results grow
