About the Role

Job Title: Experienced Business Funding Specialist | U.S. Lending | Remote
Company: MAXCREDIT
Location: Remote, Philippines
Schedule: Part-Time, 20 hours/week
Pay: $8–$10 USD/hour

Opportunity: Long-term position with potential to grow into full-time

About the Role
MAXCREDIT helps U.S. entrepreneurs and business owners improve their credit profiles and secure financing.
We're hiring an experienced Business Funding Specialist who already understands U.S. lending and can independently evaluate client profiles, recommend appropriate funding options, and manage applications from start to finish.
This is not an entry-level position. We need someone who understands how banks evaluate applicants, not someone who simply submits applications.

Responsibilities

  • Review personal and business credit profiles to assess funding readiness.
  • Identify suitable lenders based on credit, income, debt obligations, and business financials.
  • Develop funding strategies involving business credit cards, personal loans, business lines of credit, and other financing products.
  • Understand lender underwriting requirements, approval factors, and common denial reasons.
  • Prepare and manage accurate applications, with proper client authorization.
  • Communicate with banks, lenders, and clients throughout the funding process.
  • Manage funding pipelines, application results, and follow-ups in Asana and GoHighLevel.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of direct experience in U.S. lending, business funding, loan processing, or underwriting.
  • Strong understanding of personal and business credit.
  • Experience evaluating applicants and matching them with suitable lenders.
  • Familiarity with major U.S. banks, credit unions, and financing products.
  • Ability to explain why an application may be approved or declined.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

DO NOT APPLY IF

  • Your only experience is credit repair or credit disputes.
  • You are primarily a general virtual assistant.
  • You have never worked with U.S. lending applications.
  • You only know how to enter information into applications.
  • You cannot explain basic lender underwriting and approval factors.
  • You require extensive training to understand business funding.

How to Apply
Please answer the following questions:
1. How many years of U.S. lending or business funding experience do you have?
2. Which financing products have you personally worked with?
3. Which U.S. lenders have you worked with, and what was your role in the application process?
4. Describe a funding application that was initially declined and how you handled it.
5. Have you personally developed funding strategies for clients, or have you primarily processed applications?
Applications without relevant experience or answers to these questions will not be considered.
