Amazon FBA Online Arbitrage Sourcing VA (Experienced Only)
Confidential employer
Hiring: Experienced Amazon FBA Online Arbitrage Product Sourcing VA
Pay: $3.00/hour + Performance Bonuses
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8 hours per day (40 hours/week)
Position: Full-Time, Remote
Experience: Previous Amazon FBA Online Arbitrage sourcing experience REQUIRED
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
DO NOT apply if you have never sourced profitable products for Amazon FBA before.
We are an established Amazon FBA business looking for an experienced, reliable, and independent Online Arbitrage sourcing VA to help us scale our inventory, especially during Q4.
We are looking for someone who understands Amazon sourcing beyond simply finding products that appear profitable in SellerAmp.
You must already know how to:
Source profitable Amazon FBA products through Online Arbitrage
Use SellerAmp SAS and Keepa confidently
Analyze sales volume, Buy Box history, competition, and price stability
Find legitimate retailers and suppliers
Calculate accurate ROI, profit margins, and dollar profit
Identify potential price tanking and listing saturation
Find profitable Amazon seller storefronts through reverse sourcing
Identify products with realistic bulk-purchasing opportunities
Work independently without constant supervision
We are NOT looking to train someone from scratch.
YOUR MAIN JOB
Our goal is to consistently find 8–10 VALID ASINs per day, with an emphasis on profitable, high-volume sourcing opportunities.
Daily and weekly expectations:
Initial evaluation period: Minimum 5 approved ASINs per day (25 per week)
Standard target after evaluation: 8 approved ASINs per day (40 per week)
High-performance target: 10+ approved ASINs per day (50+ per week)
Finding random products does NOT count.
Every submitted product must meet our sourcing requirements and pass review.
If submitted ASINs are rejected, you must replace them before the end of the workweek to meet the required weekly target.
Only approved ASINs count toward your weekly total, not simply submitted ASINs.
A lead will be evaluated based on whether it meets our documented sourcing requirements at the time of submission. We may choose not to purchase a qualifying lead for business reasons unrelated to its quality.
Q4 SOURCING PRIORITIES
We are actively looking to take advantage of major Q4 retailer promotions, seasonal discounts, and high-volume selling opportunities.
Our main priorities are SALES VOLUME, PROFITABILITY, and FAST INVENTORY TURNOVER.
We are not interested in slow-moving products that only sell a few units per month.
We want products that allow us to purchase meaningful quantities and realistically sell through inventory quickly.
Preferred Retailers
We strongly encourage sourcing from established U.S. retailers, including:
Walmart
Target
Best Buy
Home Depot
Lowe's
Walgreens
CVS
Kohl's
Macy's
Other reputable and verified U.S. retailers
Actively research holiday sales, clearance discounts, Black Friday and Cyber Monday promotions, coupons, multi-buy offers, and other legitimate sourcing opportunities.
All discounts must be currently available and usable at the intended purchase quantity.
PRODUCT PROFITABILITY REQUIREMENTS
Every product submitted should meet the following requirements:
ROI: Minimum 35% or higher
Profit Margin: Preferably 20% or higher
Minimum Acceptable Margin: 15%, but ONLY if the product has exceptional sales volume, favorable competition, and strong overall profit potential
Profit Per Unit: Minimum $2.50–$3.00, with higher-profit products strongly preferred
All calculations must account for:
Product purchase cost
Amazon referral and FBA fees
Estimated inbound shipping and preparation costs
Applicable sales tax and other relevant expenses
Verified discounts or coupons
ROI is important, but actual dollar profit, realistic competition, and sales velocity matter just as much.
A product with great ROI is not automatically a good lead if it has poor sales potential or unrealistic competition.
MONTHLY SALES REQUIREMENTS
We are primarily targeting high-demand Amazon listings.
Preferred: 1,000+ estimated monthly sales
Minimum: 500+ estimated monthly sales, provided competition is low and there is a realistic opportunity to capture sales
High sales volume alone does NOT qualify a product.
You must analyze the number of competing sellers, Buy Box distribution, pricing trends, and how much inventory we could realistically sell.
For example, a listing selling 1,000 units per month with 30 sellers may be less attractive than one selling 600 units per month with only 4–5 competitive sellers.
Use Keepa and SellerAmp together to evaluate whether demand and profitability are sustainable.
COMPETITION AND BUY BOX ANALYSIS
Before submitting any product, review:
Number of active FBA and relevant FBM sellers
Whether Amazon Retail is competing on the listing
Buy Box price and historical pricing trends
Recent seller count increases
Price tanking and listing saturation risks
Estimated monthly sales relative to seller count
Whether we can realistically compete at the projected selling price
Avoid listings with unstable pricing, excessive competition, or obvious signs that profitability will disappear when more sellers enter.
We want inventory that sells, not inventory that sits in Amazon warehouses.
QUANTITY AND INVENTORY REQUIREMENTS
Because we are focused on Q4 volume, we prefer sourcing opportunities that allow us to purchase meaningful quantities.
Ideally, find products where we can realistically purchase:
20+ units
50+ units
100+ units when sales volume and competition support it
Retailers with sufficient available inventory are strongly preferred.
However, do NOT submit deals that only become profitable when purchasing unrealistic quantities.
Example:
If a product only meets our requirements when buying 25 units, but the listing sells approximately 50 units per month and already has 20 competing sellers, that is NOT a realistic sourcing opportunity.
Consider monthly sales, seller count, competition, purchase quantity, and potential inventory turnover.
Our preferred inventory sell-through target is approximately 30–60 days, depending on the product.
The deal must make sense for our business, not just look profitable on a spreadsheet.
SOURCE VERIFICATION IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT
You MUST verify every retailer or supplier before submitting a product.
We previously had a VA submit a fake website impersonating a major retailer. A purchase was made from the website, and the card information was compromised.
This cannot happen again.
Before submitting ANY unfamiliar website, verify that it is legitimate.
Do NOT submit:
Fake retailer websites
Scam or suspicious websites
Websites impersonating established retailers
Unverified suppliers
Websites with questionable payment methods
Sources offering unrealistic prices
Retailers with obvious authenticity or product-condition concerns
For unfamiliar websites, verify the domain, business information, independent reviews, and overall legitimacy.
If you cannot confidently verify a source, DO NOT submit it.
Any questionable supplier must be flagged for review before the lead can be approved.
ADDITIONAL PRODUCT REQUIREMENTS
Every product must:
Be a brand we are already approved/ungated to sell
NOT be a generic or unbranded product
Match the EXACT Amazon listing, including variation, size, quantity, and packaging
Be in stock at the submitted purchase price
Have a correct Amazon ASIN and retailer source link
Have accurate profitability calculations
Have realistic competition and sales potential
Not have been previously submitted by another VA
Have no obvious authenticity, expiration, or product-condition concerns
Have no known restrictions preventing us from selling the product
Do not submit duplicate, expired, inaccurate, or misleading deals.
LEAD SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Each submitted lead must include:
Amazon ASIN and listing link
Retailer/supplier product link
Purchase cost and applicable discounts
Estimated profit per unit
ROI percentage
Net profit margin percentage
Estimated monthly sales
Current competing seller count
Buy Box price and relevant price history
Recommended purchase quantity
Relevant sourcing risks or important observations
All leads should be organized, accurate, and easy to review.
