Social Media Video Editor – Daily Lifestyle Vlogs & Reels

I’m a full-time lifestyle content creator looking for a reliable video editor to help edit my daily vlogs and short-form social media content for Instagram Reels and other platforms.

My content is casual, personality-driven, day-in-the-life style content. I’m looking for someone who understands how to make everyday footage entertaining without making it feel overly produced.

Most videos will be created from raw clips I film throughout my day. I’ll upload the footage, and you’ll turn it into a finished short-form video that feels natural, fast-paced, and engaging.

What I’m looking for:

• Experience editing Instagram Reels, TikToks, daily vlogs, or similar creator content
• Strong sense of pacing and knowing which moments to keep or cut
• Clean cuts and transitions — nothing overly flashy or cheesy
• Ability to add text/captions when needed
• Good music selection and timing
• Ability to understand humor and leave in funny, candid, or imperfect moments that make the video feel real
• Comfortable following an established editing style rather than completely changing the feel of my content
• Reliable communication and quick turnaround
• Comfortable working with a large amount of raw footage
• Fluent enough in English to understand conversations, jokes, and context within the footage

I post consistently, so this has the potential to become an ongoing position with regular work. Ideally, I’d like to upload footage at the end of my day and have an edited draft ready for me to review the following morning.

I’m looking for someone who can learn my editing preferences over time so that very few revisions are eventually needed.
