CAD & Manufacturing Design Technician – TopSolid / Solidworks / AutoCAD

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We produce technical drawings and manufacturing packages for luxury retail projects around the world, including department stores and airports. Our work includes such designs as back walls, gondolas, display furniture and signage.

We’re looking for an experienced designer who can adapt approved designs to new layouts, build manufacturing 3D models and produce the matching drawings and STEP files.

This is a long-term role on a growing team.

PHP 80,000–125,000/month, depending on experience.
40 hours per week, including some daily availability for Central European time.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Adapt existing fixture designs and models to new project layouts.
• Produce manufacturing models in TopSolid or Solidworks.
• Create DWG and PDF construction drawings from the manufacturing models, and export checked STEP files from those same models.
• Follow supplied drawing standards, materials and construction references.
• Revise work following review and keep files and supplied logs up to date.

WHAT YOU NEED:

• Strong manufacturing modelling and drawing experience in TopSolid or Solidworks.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Experience with furniture, cabinetry, retail fixtures or similar manufactured products.
• Clear communication and good organisation.
• Experience in both TopSolid and Solidworks is an advantage, but only one is required. Revit or SketchUp experience alone is insufficient for this role.
