Account / Project Manager
Confidential employer
The Role
You'll be the day-to-day point of contact for a portfolio of Encipher clients. You own the relationship: onboarding, communication, project follow-through and expectations.
Our media buyers run the ad accounts. Your job is to make sure every client feels informed, looked after and confident in the work, and that nothing falls through the cracks between them and our team.
This is a full-time, remote position for a candidate based in the Philippines.
We're a startup, and we're hiring an A player. Your role will grow and shift beyond what's written here as we scale. If you want a job that stays exactly the same, this isn't the role for you.
What You'll Do
- Manage multiple clients at once. Know each client's goals, budget, services and current status without needing to look it up.
- Own the inbox. Reply to client email s within one business day. Write updates, recaps and follow-ups that are clear enough to send without edits.
- Lead onboarding. Take new clients from payment to launch: kickoff call, intake form, and access to ad accounts, Google Business Profile, website and CRM. Keep our onboarding checklist in Notion up to date.
- Set and manage expectations. Explain timelines, the learning phase in the first few months, and what good results look like at each stage. Make sure clients never get surprised.
- Keep projects moving. Track tasks across clients, like landing pages, website updates, tracking fixes, creative requests and reports. Chase client approvals and assets so our team is never blocked.
- Run client calls. Schedule and lead check-ins, present monthly results alongside the media buyer, and send a recap with next steps after every call.
- Protect retention. Spot unhappy or at-risk clients early and escalate before it becomes a cancellation. Flag upsell opportunities (LSAs, SEO, web design) to sales.
Who You'll Work With
You sit between our clients and our internal team, and you'll be talking with both every day.
- Head Media Buyer. Runs Google Ads and Meta Ads strategy and tracking. You pass along client goals, feedback and budget changes, turn their technical updates into plain language for clients, and prep monthly reports and calls together.
- Sales. Closes new clients. You get a handoff of what was promised and take it from there. You send upsell and referral opportunities back their way.
- Clients. Mostly moving company owners and operators, plus other home service businesses. They're busy, often on the road or the phone, and want short, straight answers.
What You Need
- Clear, confident English, spoken and written. This is non-negotiable. You'll be on live calls with North American business owners and writing email s that go out as-is. We screen for this on a recorded video and a live call.
- 2+ years in account management, client success or project coordination, ideally at a marketing agency.
- Experience with paid ads clients. You understand leads, cost per lead, booked jobs and ROAS, and can explain them to a business owner in plain language.
- Experience working with US or Canadian clients, including their expectations and communication style.
- Proven ability to juggle multiple clients and deadlines without dropping anything.
- A go-getter. You take ownership, move fast and find the answer before anyone has to ask.
- Strong organization. You keep clean notes, live in a task system and follow up without being reminded.
- Calm under pressure. You can handle a frustrated client professionally and know when to escalate.
- Daily user of Notion, Slack and Google Workspace. You'll be working in these tools from day one.
Nice to Have
- Agency experience with Google Ads, Meta Ads or Local Services Ads clients
- Experience in the moving or home services industry
- Familiarity with WhatConverts, SmartMoving, GoHighLevel and Stripe
Schedule, Setup and Compensation
- Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week, during Eastern Time business hours 9-5EST. This is a night shift in the Philippines.
- Location: Fully remote, from the Philippines.
- Your setup: A reliable computer, stable internet with a backup connection, a noise-cancelling headset, a webcam and a quiet place to take calls.
