About the Role

Remote Front-Office Coordinator — US Home-Services Companies (Full-Time, $15/hr)

Hi there — I’m Marcus, founder of Prairie & Palm Talent, a US-based staffing agency. I place elite remote professionals into full-time roles with American home-services businesses — think plumbing, HVAC, and similar trades.

What you’d be doing:

You’d be the front-office backbone for a US home-services company — the person who keeps the day running:

  • Answering incoming calls and messages from customers
  • Scheduling and coordinating jobs on the calendar
  • Following up on quotes and keeping customers in the loop
  • General admin and organization to keep the owner out of the weeds

Who you’d work with:

Down-to-earth American business owners — hardworking trades people who value reliability and a warm, professional voice on the phone.

Pay & schedule:

  • $15/hour — full-time (roughly $2,600/month). We’re looking for the best and are willing to pay top-of-market.
  • Full-time hours aligned to US business hours (Central Time), Monday–Friday.
  • Paid reliably and on time, every time.

Who I’m looking for:

  • Fluent, clear, confident spoken and written English — you’re comfortable on the phone with customers
  • Experience in admin, customer service, scheduling, dispatch, or a similar front-office role
  • Reliable and organized — you own your work
  • A solid home setup: fast internet with a backup, backup power, a quiet space, and a good computer
  • Someone who’d genuinely enjoy supporting a hands-on, blue-collar business

Our process (we respect your time):

We’re selective, so the process is thorough: a couple of conversations, a short paid skills exercise, and reference checks — because we’re placing people into great long-term roles and want it to be the right fit. We’re currently growing our roster of top talent and place people with clients as roles open, often quickly.

How to apply

  • Start your message with the word “PRAIRIE” so I know you read this.
  • Tell me briefly about your relevant experience and why this role fits you.
  • Include a 2-minute video introducing yourself (I don’t move forward without one — I want to hear your English and get to know you a bit).

Looking forward to meeting some great people.

— Marcus, Prairie & Palm Talent
