Virtual Assistant
About the Role

About Us

C&G Autos is a high-performing independent car repair and service centre based in Slough, UK. With 600 Google reviews and a 4.8 star rating, we have built our reputation on clear communication, trust, and professional standards.

We are not looking for a “virtual assistant”.
We are looking for the engine room of our front-of-house operations — someone to execute our systems, master our checklists, and grow into a senior operations role over time.

The Role

You will act as our remote Service Advisor, bridging the gap between the workshop and the customer. You will control job progression, provide technical explanations, and maintain administrative accuracy across every job.

This role requires a deep technical understanding of vehicles.

Ideally, you are a former mechanic or technician who understands how workshop time, diagnostics, and repairs really work, and now wants to work in a structured, remote, operations-focused role.

You must be able to communicate at the level of a main-dealer service advisor — calm, confident, and professional, even when explaining complex repairs, estimates, or delays.

You will be trained using step-by-step Loom videos, SOPs, and checklists — and expected to improve these systems over time.

Key Responsibilities
Customer Logistics
Answer inbound calls, WhatsApp messages, and emails. Book MOTs, services, and diagnostics with precision.

Workshop Control
Create jobs in Motasoft, allocate labour hours correctly, and track progress using Autodata and Haynes Pro.

Estimating & Approvals
Prepare clear, technical estimates. Proactively follow up for authorisation efficiently and proffessionally.

Proactive Management
Flag parts delays or over-running jobs early. Ensure no “loose ends” in digital paperwork.

System Improvement
Use our Loom SOPs and checklists, while actively finding ways to reduce errors and inefficiencies.

The Perfect Candidate

Technical DNA
You understand how a car works and how a workshop flows. You are comfortable using Goggle Workspace and technical platforms to support your decisions.

Communication Pro
Your English is excellent. You can explain a head gasket failure or timing belt interval in a way that builds complete customer trust.

Main Dealer Standards
You likely have experience with brands such as: BMW, VAG, Land Rover, Ford, Mercedez

Methodical Mindset
You enjoy structure. You don’t miss details. You notice when things don’t add up. You take ownership of outcomes.

Role Details
Status: Full-time, long-term career opportunity
Hours: Core availability during US business hours
Pay: £4 - £6 (GBP) per hour depending on experience, with performance-based bonuses

Tools you will use daily: Motasoft, Autodata, Haynes Pro, PartsLink24, Loom, WhatsApp Business
