Automation Engineer – MSP

We are looking for a skilled Automation Engineer with an MSP operations and automation background. The ideal candidate has strong PowerShell scripting skills and a passion for process optimization, automation, and improving operational efficiency.

Responsibilities
Identify opportunities to automate and streamline MSP processes
Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for routine tasks, system configuration, and troubleshooting
Use RPA tools to automate repetitive tasks and workflows
Leverage RMM platforms such as Datto RMM to automate monitoring, patch management, and administration
Develop custom connectors, workflows, and alerts
Troubleshoot complex technical issues and develop automated solutions
Research and implement new technologies to improve service delivery
Document processes, procedures, and automation best practices

Requirements
2+ years of experience in a similar role within an MSP environment
Strong PowerShell scripting and automation experience
Experience with Rewst or similar IT automation platforms is highly preferred
Understanding of RPA concepts and experience with RPA tools
Experience with RMM tools, such as Datto RMM or similar platforms
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and creative thinking skills
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Highly organized, self-motivated, and committed to continuous learning

Role Details
Pay: $7–$8/hr
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM EST
Type: Full-Time, Remote
