About the Role

Podcast: Holding It Together
Hours: Approximately 20 hours per week to start, with the possibility of more as the work grows

About the Role

We’re seeking a hands-on digital content manager to support a lawyer, podcast host, and mental health business owner. This person will publish podcast episodes, turn them into social content, manage distribution, create and publish posts, maintain the website, and handle routine email communication.

This is an execution role. The successful candidate needs to know how to do the work themselves—not simply coordinate other people or recommend what should be done. The goal is a professional, consistent online presence built around thoughtful, useful content rather than generic posts or memes.

Responsibilities

Podcast Management
1. Manage the Holding It Together podcast in Buzzsprout.
2. Prepare and upload episodes, including titles, descriptions, show notes, artwork, links, and publishing details.
3, Check each episode before publication and troubleshoot routine publishing issues.
4, Maintain an organized publishing schedule and podcast content library.

Video and Social Content
1, Edit podcast recordings into short clips using CapCut, Opus Clip, or similar tools.
2, Select strong segments, add captions, and format clips for the social platforms being used.
3, Create thoughtful social posts based on podcast episodes, business themes, and supplied material.
4, Design graphics and other post assets using Canva.
5, Write captions and adapt content to suit each platform.
6, Schedule and publish content through third-party social media management tools.
7, Monitor posts and respond to routine comments or messages when appropriate.

Website Management
1. Build, update, and maintain the business website.
2. Improve the site’s structure, content, and presentation, and keep information current.
3. Troubleshoot and fix common website issues independently.
4. Create or update landing pages, forms, and basic funnels using GoHighLevel (GHL) or a comparable platform.
5. Identify issues that require specialized support and clearly explain what is needed.
6. Email and Communication
7, Draft and send routine business, podcast, and audience email s.
8. Monitor and respond to routine incoming email s using sound judgment and a professional tone.
9, Flag sensitive, legal, clinical, or otherwise important messages for the client rather than responding beyond the role’s authority.
10, Keep email lists, links, and related content organized as needed.

Work Management
1. Take ownership of assigned work from start to finish.
2. Maintain a reliable content and publishing schedule.
3. Communicate clearly about progress, upcoming needs, and issues that require the client’s decision.
4. Work independently while incorporating feedback and following the brand’s voice and direction.

Required Qualifications
1. Strong spoken and written English.
2. Demonstrated ability to manage a podcast publishing workflow, create social media content, and maintain a website.
3. Practical experience with Buzzsprout or another podcast hosting platform.
4, Experience editing short-form video with CapCut, Opus Clip, or comparable tools.
5. Strong working knowledge of Canva.
6. Experience scheduling and publishing content through third-party social media tools.
7. Ability to build, update, and troubleshoot websites independently.
8. Experience creating landing pages or funnels with GoHighLevel or a comparable platform.
9. Good judgment, organization, reliability, and attention to detail.
10. Professional discretion when handling content and communication related to legal and mental health topics.

Preferred Experience
1. Experience managing email newsletters or routine business email .
2. Experience repurposing podcast episodes into clips, posts, and email content.
3. Experience supporting a podcast host, professional services business, or mental health-related brand.
4. Familiarity with analytics and using performance data to improve content.
