Commercial Construction Project Estimator

Join a commercial construction-related equipment manufacturer and play a key role in preparing accurate estimates and project bids to help them win more business.

This is not just a data entry role. You’ll be expected to understand project drawings and specifications, identify important details, and make sure everything makes sense before pricing a project. You’ll have ownership of your work and contribute to building clear, accurate, and competitive proposals.

Responsibilities

• Review architectural and construction drawings, specifications, and project scope to understand requirements.
• Develop detailed cost estimates, proposals, and bid submissions.
• Read and interpret drawings to identify project scope, quantities, materials, and bid requirements.
• Mark up drawings and make updates based on project requirements or changes.
• Create or modify plans and layouts based on existing drawings and project requirements.
• Review construction documents and identify missing information, inconsistencies, or potential issues.
• Support the estimating and bidding process from initial project review through proposal preparation.
• Coordinate with project stakeholders, including owners, Project Managers, Superintendents, Subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Reach out to suppliers and subcontractors to gather pricing and confirm project details.
• Manage multiple bid requests and project opportunities while meeting deadlines.
• Prepare clear and complete proposals and estimates based on project requirements.
• Assist with pricing discussions, revisions, and adjustments as needed.
• Maintain organized project documentation and ensure information is accurate and up to date.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in construction, architecture, drafting, BIM, estimating, or a related field.
• Strong experience reading and interpreting architectural and construction drawings.
• Experience marking up drawings and creating or modifying plans and layouts.
• Comfortable working with construction, drafting, estimating, or BIM software.
• Experience with tools such as ArchiCAD, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, SketchUp, or similar is a strong plus.
• Experience with construction estimating, bidding, project documentation, or bid coordination.
• Background working with contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, or trades is a strong plus.
• Previous experience supporting U.S.-based construction projects or clients preferred.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple projects and deadlines.
• Able to work independently and use good judgment when reviewing project information.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a high volume of project requests.
• Must be available to work hours aligned with U.S. time zones.
• Reliable internet connection and dedicated work-from-home setup required.

Salary and Benefits

• Base salary: PHP 55,000 per month
• 100% remote / work-from-home
• PTO and paid holidays
