Website Designer

Hi! I’m looking for a creative web designer/developer to help redesign the website for my creative business, NOW Studios.
I already have a very specific visual direction and reference/mockup for the website. I am NOT looking for a traditional modern/minimal website.
The concept is a late-90s/early-2000s Y2K computer/Internet website, inspired by Windows 98/2000, old Internet Explorer websites, desktop icons, pop-up windows, .EXE programs, visitor counters, chatrooms, chrome graphics, CDs, camcorders, old digital cameras, etc.
The main color palette should be chrome/silver, black, white, Windows/electric blue, and small green digital accents. I do NOT want the website overly pink or overly feminine.
The website is for NOW Studios, a DMV creative studio offering photography, podcast recording, studio rental and content production. We also have two original entertainment platforms that operate from the studio: Big Cypher Couch and Spill It.
I currently use Pixieset and would ideally like to keep Pixieset for my booking/client gallery functions. I need someone who can determine the best way to create the custom Y2K front-end experience while allowing my Pixieset booking pages/galleries to remain integrated or linked.
The homepage concept includes:
- A Windows-style vertical desktop menu on the left
- NOW Studios chrome logo
- NOWSTUDIOS.EXE main window
- Old Windows/Internet Explorer-style pop-up boxes
- "Book A Session" and "Explore The Studio" buttons
- Photography, Podcast and Studio Rental sections
- Big Cypher Couch and Spill It sections under "NOW Originals"
- Fake Y2K chatroom/guestbook
- Scrolling marquee text
- ONLINE status indicator
- Old-school visitor counter
- Chrome/Y2K graphics
- CDs, camcorders, cameras, cursors, sparkles and computer icons
- Interactive hover/click effects
- Responsive mobile version
Most importantly: I already have a visual mockup showing exactly what I want. I don't need someone to reinvent the concept—I need someone who can take the reference and turn it into a polished, functional website.
The site should look authentically Y2K, but it still needs to function professionally in 2026.
Please send me:
1. Examples of websites you've designed/developed.
2. Whether you're comfortable with HTML/CSS/JavaScript.
3. Whether you've worked with Pixieset or embedded/custom website code before.
4. Whether you can make the website responsive for desktop and mobile.
5. Your estimated price for the project.
6. Estimated turnaround time.
Please do not apply if you only work with premade templates. I'm specifically looking for someone comfortable creating a custom visual experience.
I will provide the NOW Studios logo, brand assets, photos, website copy, page links and visual references.
Thank you!
