About the Role

A psychologist-founder is looking for a creative social media professional to bring three established brands to life online: a professional thought-leadership platform, a telehealth psychology practice, and a self-guided product for college and graduate-school applicants. You create, source and publish content within each brand’s guidelines, engage the audience and grow each account, balancing strong growth with high ethical standards. You’ll never be waiting on the founder for content.
How we show up

  • Authenticity: content reflects what the brands truly stand for. No hype and no trend-chasing.
  • Value first: every piece leaves the reader better informed, more understood or better equipped.
  • Transparency: accurate information, clear disclosures and no overblown claims.
  • Growth with integrity: we want strong, steady follower growth and conversions, earned through real value and ethical practices, never through shortcuts or hype.
  • Ethics first: privacy, accuracy and respect for the audience come before reach.

Who this role is for
Each brand has established guidelines for its look, voice and audience. You are a seasoned creative who is excited to bring them to life with polished, thoughtful work that goes well beyond templates, and you use sound judgment on your own.
What you will do

  • Create and publish about 9– ---------- Instagram and Facebook posts a week across the three brands, including 3–4 Reels, plus 3–4 LinkedIn posts, using royalty-free images and video, Canva and AI tools.
  • Make every piece count: each one is crafted for the brand’s ideal client.
  • Engage: reply to comments within 24 hours and engage daily with relevant people, creators and communities.
  • Handle sensitive messages with care: anything personal, clinical or crisis-related goes to the founder the same day.
  • Keep clinical content accurate: mental health information comes from approved sources, and you bring it to life.
  • Track and improve: tag links, test formats and timing, and make light SEO fixes on brand websites.
  • Report weekly: a short Friday report on what went live, what you learned and the results.

What success looks like

  • Content published consistently, on schedule and on-brand
  • Comments answered within 24 hours
  • Steady growth in followers, reach, engagement, inquiries and conversions, against monthly targets we set together
  • Independent work and sound judgment

What you bring
Core skills: social media marketing, social media video editing and Instagram marketing.
At least 1 year of full-time-equivalent experience (part-time counts proportionally) in:

  • Growing Instagram and Facebook accounts organically for brands, with results you can show
  • Creating original, brand-specific content and short-form video (CapCut or similar)

You also have:

  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Strong Canva and Meta Business Suite skills
  • Experience with analytics and link tracking (Google Analytics, UTM)
  • Comfort using AI tools such as ChatGPT or Claude in content work
  • Care in sourcing properly licensed images, video and music
  • Know-how to boost posts, used only with approval

Preferred: healthcare, mental health, education or professional-services brands; LinkedIn page growth; basic WordPress and SEO.
How we work

  • About 12–16 hours a week, in short sessions 5 days a week, since engagement happens daily.
  • First 6 months: work up to 3 hours on Mondays and Wednesdays between 10 am and 3 pm Pacific Time (overnight on Tuesdays and Thursdays in the Philippines), so questions can be answered in real time. This is part of your regular hours. After that, you work independently, with check-ins only as needed.
  • All software and tools are provided. You need your own secure computer and a private internet connection.
  • You are paid for productive hours. When the work is done, you are done.
  • A confidentiality agreement is required.

Pay and growth

  • Starting rate: $4–$5 USD per hour, based on experience, during a 30-day trial
  • +$1 per hour, back-paid to your first day, once you pass the trial
  • +$1 per hour more at 6 months
  • Quarterly bonuses: each quarter is a fresh opportunity to earn a bonus based on that quarter’s results, including growth and conversions, worth up to about $2 per hour on top of your rate at full performance
  • Paid every two weeks. Rates are reviewed yearly.

To apply
Use the subject line "Social Media Creative & Growth Specialist – Content Brands" and answer the following:
1. Share 2 accounts you grew organically: starting and ending numbers, the timeframe and what you did. Include a short screen recording of the analytics or temporary view-only access.
2. Link 2 Reels and 3 other pieces you created from scratch.
3. Choose one of those pieces. Who was it for, what did it say to them, and why did you make the creative choices you made?
4. Someone comments on a therapy practice’s post describing a personal struggle and asking for advice. What do you do?
5. How do you know whether a post led to an inquiry or sale?
6. Can you reliably work up to 3 hours on Mondays and Wednesdays between 10 am and 3 pm Pacific Time for the first 6 months? What hours would that be for you?
7. You've finished your planned work with 2 hours left in your week. What do you do?
8. What hourly rate are you seeking?
Shortlisted applicants complete a short paid practice task.
