Xactimate Estimator & Invoicing Specialist (US Water/Fire Restoration)

Poseidon Restoration is a property restoration company in Washington State, USA. We handle water damage mitigation, fire and smoke restoration, mold remediation, and reconstruction, mostly through insurance claims. We are growing and need a dedicated estimator to take over estimate writing and invoicing from our Project Manager.

What you will do:
Build Xactimate estimates (in conjunction with our ai) for water mitigation, fire, and reconstruction jobs using field photos, moisture logs, sketches, and notes from our project managers. Identify missing documentation and request it before finalizing. Write supplements and line-item justifications for insurance adjusters. Prepare and send invoices in QuickBooks Online. Track unpaid balances and follow up until collected. Follow our written procedures and help improve them.

Required:
At least 2 years writing Xactimate estimates for US restoration contractors, with water mitigation experience. Excellent written and spoken English. Experience with US insurance claims and adjusters. Strong attention to detail. Available to work at least 20-40 hours overlapping with US Pacific Time, Monday to Friday. Reliable internet with a backup connection and backup power.

Preferred:
Experience writing estimates for TPA programs such as Contractor Connection, Accuserve, or similar, including working within program guidelines and estimate review requirements. Experience submitting to and negotiating with major US insurance carriers on water, fire, and reconstruction claims. Fire and reconstruction estimating experience. QuickBooks Online. Familiarity with IICRC drying standards.
