Service Advisor/Logistics Manager
Confidential employer
Do you learn faster, take more ownership, and want more responsibility than your current job allows?
Assure Repair, LLC is a U.S.-based mobile automotive repair company looking for an unusually capable person in the Philippines to join our operations team.
This is a demanding remote position with a path toward management. You will learn how our business operates, solve real problems, and earn greater responsibility through your performance.
READ BEFORE APPLYING
- Excellent spoken and written English is mandatory. We require consistently clear, grammatically correct, professional communication. You must be able to understand U.S. customers and technicians and communicate confidently by phone without language barriers or frequent requests for clarification.
- Basic automotive knowledge is required. You do not need to be a technician, but you must already understand common automotive parts and vehicle systems.
- Candidates must pass a three-part assessment before receiving an offer: a logic puzzle, a difficult customer interaction, and a test of your ability to learn and reproduce a demonstrated skill.
- The assessment takes approximately one hour. Please apply only if you meet the requirements and are prepared to complete it.
- This role requires independent thinking, initiative, and accountability.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Initially, you will work closely with our operations team and learn nearly every part of the business, including:
- Identifying and sourcing automotive parts.
- Understanding repair estimates and technician recommendations.
- Working with parts vendors and automotive catalogs.
- Coordinating jobs with technicians and dispatchers.
- Resolving scheduling, parts, customer, and operational problems.
- Reviewing jobs and catching mistakes before they affect customers.
- Learning our systems, processes, and workflows.
- Improving processes to make our team faster and more accurate.
- Taking ownership of increasingly important projects.
- Helping management solve the most pressing problem of the day.
Your responsibilities will expand as you demonstrate your capabilities.
We will provide training, but we expect you to become increasingly independent. The goal is to give you a problem, trust your judgment, and say: “Figure it out.”
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We care more about your learning ability, drive, and judgment than an impressive résumé.
You should be:
- Exceptionally quick to learn and apply new information.
- Ambitious and eager to earn more responsibility.
- Dependable, organized, and attentive to detail.
- Resourceful when facing unfamiliar problems.
- Comfortable making decisions and taking responsibility for them.
- Willing to ask useful questions, admit uncertainty, and find accurate answers.
- Able to communicate clearly with technicians, vendors, coworkers, and customers.
- Interested in automotive repair and how the entire business operates.
- Someone who notices problems and takes action without waiting to be reminded.
AUTOMOTIVE KNOWLEDGE
You should understand what common components do, including:
Starters, alternators, radiators, water pumps, fuel pumps, ignition coils, brake calipers, control arms, A/C compressors, transmissions, and differentials.
Experience as a service advisor, parts advisor, parts counterperson, shop coordinator, assistant service manager, or in a similar automotive role is strongly preferred.
You do not need to be an automotive technician. However, this position is not suitable for someone starting with no automotive knowledge.
REMOTE WORK REQUIREMENTS
- Reliable internet and a quiet environment suitable for customer and vendor calls are required.
- You must be comfortable communicating directly with U.S. customers and working with a remote team.
- Your spoken and written English must consistently meet the standard described above.
WHAT WE VALUE MOST
1. Learning speed.
2. Initiative and ownership.
3. Problem-solving ability.
4. Ambition.
5. Reliability.
6. Judgment and common sense.
7. Clear, precise communication.
8. Automotive familiarity.
9. Relevant experience.
Excellent English is a minimum requirement for consideration.
We would rather hire someone with one year of relevant experience and exceptional potential than someone with ten years of experience who has stopped learning.
GROWTH OPPORTUNITY
This is a management-track position.
We want someone we can invest in, train extensively, and trust with greater responsibility as they prove themselves.
Potential growth includes:
Operations Management → General Management → Senior Company Leadership
Advancement depends on performance, judgment, and demonstrated capability. If you become capable of handling more, we want to give you more.
THIS POSITION IS PROBABLY NOT FOR YOU IF:
- You want the same predictable tasks every day.
- You need repeated reminders to finish your work.
- You avoid decisions or accountability.
- You only address problems specifically assigned to you.
- You want to remain within a narrow job description.
- You are not interested in continuous learning.
HOW TO APPLY
Please include:
1. A voice clip demonstrating native-level fluency and clarity of English.
2. A brief explanation of why this role interests you.
If you have ever thought, “I know I’m capable of more than they’re letting me do here,” we would like to hear from you.
