Full-Time E-Commerce Virtual Assistant — Shopify Expert

We are a growing US-based e-commerce business looking for a full-time E-Commerce Virtual Assistant with strong Shopify expertise.
This role is specifically for someone who has hands-on experience with Shopify and understands how to build, set up, manage, and maintain a Shopify store from scratch.
We are looking for someone who can work independently, solve problems, learn quickly, and take ownership of e-commerce tasks without needing constant supervision.

What You'll Be Doing
Build and set up Shopify stores from scratch
Configure Shopify store settings, navigation, collections, pages, and menus
Create, upload, organize, and update products and product variants
Write and format product titles, descriptions, pricing, SKUs, and other product information
Upload and organize product images and other store content
Set up and manage collections, categories, tags, and product organization
Install, configure, and manage Shopify apps
Assist with Shopify themes, page layouts, and store customization
Manage and update inventory and product availability
Monitor and process orders through Shopify
Assist with order fulfillment, returns, refunds, and customer order concerns
Troubleshoot Shopify store issues and research solutions independently
Test the website to identify broken links, incorrect information, checkout issues, or other problems
Help improve the overall organization and customer experience of the online store
Conduct competitor, product, and e-commerce research
Learn and work with additional e-commerce tools and software as needed
Identify and flag potential problems before they become bigger issues
Provide clear daily updates on completed, ongoing, and pending work
Take on additional e-commerce responsibilities as the business grows

What We're Looking For
Shopify experience is required for this position.

You should have:
Strong hands-on experience using Shopify
Experience creating and setting up a Shopify store from scratch
Experience managing products, variants, collections, inventory, and orders
Experience installing and configuring Shopify apps
Understanding of Shopify themes, navigation, pages, and store structure
Understanding of the e-commerce customer journey from product page through checkout and fulfillment
Ability to troubleshoot Shopify and e-commerce issues independently
Excellent written and spoken English
Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
Resourcefulness and the ability to research and figure things out independently
Strong attention to detail
Excellent organization and time-management skills
Proactive communication and the ability to work without constant follow-up
Comfort learning new e-commerce software, apps, and technology

Availability for 40 hours per week
Ability to start ASAP

Compensation & Benefits
Approximately $600 USD/month
13th-month pay starting next year
HMO insurance after 6 months - 1 dependent
