About the Role

Part-time engagement assistant provided

We are seeking an experienced social media professional to lead strategy, publishing, community engagement, and organic growth across All Virgin Hair, Beauté by AVH, and our founder’s personal brand.

You must know how to build an engaged audience, understand what makes each brand different, and connect social media activity to customer inquiries, product sales, salon bookings, and business opportunities.

This is a senior, hands-on position requiring proven results, strong organization, current platform knowledge, and full-time commitment.

Compensation

  • Starting base salary: $900- $1300 USD monthly, depending on verified experience, demonstrated skills, and previous results.
  • Up to $1,500 in additional quarterly performance bonuses.
  • Additional milestone bonuses available for exceptional, verified organic growth under an agreed bonus plan.
  • At full quarterly bonus achievement, compensation averages $1, ---------- monthly, before additional milestone bonuses.
  • The part-time engagement assistant is provided and paid separately.

Bonuses reward performance above agreed expectations. Results are tracked monthly, with bonuses paid quarterly. Measurement rules and targets will be documented in advance.

Our Brands

You will manage three distinct brand identities:

  • All Virgin Hair / AVH Extensions: Hair extensions, wigs, product education, and online sales.

----------

  • Beauté by AVH: Premium salon services, installations, customer transformations, and retail, including our Atlanta and London presence.

----------

  • Founder’s personal brand: Entrepreneurship, founder storytelling, personal visibility, and brand credibility.

----------

You must develop a distinct voice and strategy for each while keeping the overall brand family consistent.

Platforms You Will Manage

Instagram, Facebook , TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, and Reddit.

Responsibilities include managing existing accounts, establishing an appropriate Reddit presence, and recommending which platforms each brand should prioritize. Publishing frequency and content must fit the audience and purpose of each platform.

Responsibilities

Strategy and Content Planning

  • Develop and own the social media strategy for each brand.
  • Maintain a coordinated content calendar covering all active platforms.
  • Plan product education, transformations, testimonials, stylist features, salon content, founder stories, and promotional campaigns.
  • Identify relevant trends and translate them into content that fits our brands.
  • Coordinate with our video editor, graphic designer, salon team, and founder.
  • Request footage and creative assets early enough to meet deadlines.
  • Provide clear creative briefs, hooks, captions, and calls to action.

You will have creative team support, but you own the planning, coordination, and publishing process.

Publishing and Account Management

  • Maintain daily publishing activity across the portfolio according to approved platform schedules.
  • Adapt content for each platform instead of simply duplicating every post.
  • Manage scheduling, approvals, captions, keywords, tags, links, and quality checks.
  • Plan for relevant audience time zones, including Atlanta and London.
  • Repurpose strong content into suitable formats.
  • Keep profiles, bios, highlights, and customer pathways accurate and current.

Community Engagement and Customer Development

Daily engagement is a core responsibility.

  • Respond to comments, messages, and relevant mentions.
  • Identify and engage potential customers, stylists, salons, and creators.
  • Leave thoughtful comments on relevant accounts.
  • Conduct personalized outreach and appropriate follow-ups.
  • Repost suitable customer and stylist content with permission.
  • Move qualified inquiries toward purchases, consultations, bookings, or the appropriate team member.
  • Track engagement activity and outcomes.

Purchased followers, artificial engagement, engagement pods, generic comments, and repetitive unsolicited messages are unacceptable.

Supervise the Engagement Assistant

A part-time assistant will support community engagement. You will:

  • Assign clear daily responsibilities.
  • Provide brand voice and response guidance.
  • Review work quality and completion.
  • Track individual contributions.
  • Escalate customer issues appropriately.

You remain accountable for the overall community management process.

Stay Current With Platform Changes

We need someone who actively studies social media and applies what they learn.

  • Monitor platform announcements, new features, trends, and audience behavior.
  • Stay informed about changes across Meta and other managed platforms.
  • Distinguish verified guidance from unsupported algorithm claims.
  • Recommend practical tests and explain how success will be measured.
  • Adjust strategy based on evidence and results.

Reporting and Business Results

Provide a weekly report covering:

  • Relevant organic follower growth.
  • Reach, views, watch time, saves, shares, and meaningful comments.
  • Customer inquiries, stylist leads, website visits, and bookings.
  • Trackable sales, with clear attribution limitations.
  • Strongest and weakest content.
  • Missed deliverables, blockers, and corrective actions.
  • Recommendations and priorities for the following week.

Separate paid results from organic performance.

Content Standards: Real Content First

Most content must feature real people, real hair, real services, and real results.

Core content will include actual products, installations, transformations, customer experiences, stylist education, salon activity, and founder footage.

AI may support planning, captions, analysis, and appropriate promotional graphics or effects. AI-generated or AI-altered imagery must not represent our hair products, textures, installations, or customer results. Promotional treatments must preserve the accuracy of any real products shown.

Weekly Performance Expectations

The following are initial operating expectations, to be confirmed during onboarding against available assets, account priorities, and the approved workload.

|Area |Expected Standard |
|------------------------------|------------------------------------------------------------|
|Content calendar |Following week’s calendar ready for review by Thursday |
|Publishing reliability |At least 95% of approved posts published on schedule |
|Instagram feed |Per brand: 5 posts weekly, including at least 3 Reels |
|Instagram Stories |Active on at least 5 days weekly per brand |
|Other platforms |Meet the approved daily or weekly account schedule |
|Meaningful outbound comments |100 weekly across the portfolio |
|Personalized outreach |40 relevant new outreach conversations initiated weekly |
|Follow-ups |30 weekly with interested customers, stylists, or creators |
|Community reposts |6 weekly when suitable content and permissions are available|
|Incoming comments and messages|At least 95% answered within one business day |
|Performance reporting |One complete report weekly |

Engagement activity targets are combined totals for the manager and assistant across the portfolio, with individual responsibilities assigned clearly.

Quality matters. Duplicate, irrelevant, or generic interactions do not count. Documented delays caused by missing assets, pending approvals, or platform issues will be reviewed separately from employee-controlled delays.

Performance Reviews and Bonuses

You will receive a weekly scorecard showing completed work, timeliness, quality, results, and feedback. Work must be supported by deliverable links, platform data, or other verifiable evidence.

Monthly bonus opportunities are:

|Performance Category |Maximum Monthly Bonus|
|--------------------------------------------------|--------------------:|
|Relevant organic follower growth |$150 |
|Meaningful audience engagement |$150 |
|Qualified inquiries, bookings, and trackable sales|$200 |
|Total |$500 |

Monthly earnings accumulate for a maximum regular quarterly bonus of $1,500.

Baseline and stretch targets will be established after the initial account audit and agreed before the measurement period. Meeting standard expectations is covered by base compensation; bonuses reward results above those expectations.

Additional exceptional-growth milestones under the agreed plan:

  • 20,000 net new organic followers in a month: $250 additional bonus.
  • 50,000 net new organic followers in a month: $750 additional bonus.

Only the highest milestone applies each month. These milestones cover the combined managed accounts and require verification of legitimate, relevant growth. Account follows across platforms are not treated as unique people.

  • Proven experience managing multiple brands across multiple social platforms.
  • A portfolio of accounts you personally managed.
  • Documented improvements attributable to your work.
  • Strong writing, community management, and customer engagement skills.
  • Experience coordinating editors, designers, and content contributors.
