Freelance Odoo Marketing VA: Social, Email and Meta Ads

ABOUT US
Edify & Empower Tutoring is a UK tutoring and education business. We teach in a personal, neuroinclusive way, and we support schools with safeguarding and safer recruitment. We are launching a campaign for families and schools. I need a careful, reliable freelancer to build the foundations and then keep the campaign running. You will work directly with me, the founder.

HOW WE WORK
All posts and email s are created and scheduled in Odoo. Paid ads run in Meta Ads Manager. Nothing goes live until I approve it.

PHASE 1: SET-UP PROJECT (about 4 weeks, 70 hours maximum)

• Build our Odoo contacts, with parents and schools kept completely separate
• Build the first parent email journey with timings and stop rules (it stops when someone replies, books, buys, unsubscribes or asks to pause, and a parent only ever receives one journey at a time)
• Create and schedule the first week of Instagram, Facebook and ---------- posts in ---------- , using our captions and graphics. Some LinkedIn posts are for school colleagues and use different wording
• Set up Meta Ads access through our Business Portfolio, check tracking, and build a first small parent campaign, left paused for my approval
• Set up our video workflow: scripts, subtitles and branded covers
• Test everything with test email addresses, and write short step-by-step instructions

PHASE 2: MAINTENANCE (10 hours a week, ongoing)

• Schedule and check daily posts in Odoo
• Monitor our Meta ads, make small agreed changes and send a short weekly report
• Check and send our email journeys, and build the next ones
• Add subtitles and covers to my videos, and check links and booking pages

ESSENTIAL

• Meta Ads experience, with proof. You must have run real campaigns in Ads Manager
• Email automation experience. Odoo is strongly preferred, and training is provided
• Excellent written English and exceptional attention to detail: dates, links, budgets and lists
• Willing to sign a confidentiality agreement and give two references

PAY AND HOURS

• Freelance, $9 per hour, paid monthly on recorded hours
• Paid two-month trial with review points. Rate reviewed at the end
• At least 2 to 3 hours of overlap with UK mornings (for example 9am to 12pm UK time)
• Ad spend is paid by me directly to Meta. You will never handle payment details

HOW TO APPLY (applications missing any step will not be considered)
1. Subject line: "Edify VA - [your full name] - [your favourite colour]". If there is no subject line, start your message with those words.
2. Proof of Meta Ads experience, at least two of these (blur client names, and never send logins): Ads Manager screenshots showing date range, objective, spend and results; a short case study of what you ran, the budget, the result and what you changed; a Meta Blueprint certificate I can check; a client or former employer I can contact. I will ask you to screen-share a real campaign at interview.
3. A video of 60 seconds or less (unlisted link; phone is fine; a voice recording is fine if filming is a barrier). Tell me your name and where you are based, one Meta ads campaign you ran and the result, and a mistake you caught before it caused a problem.
4. Three short answers: which email automations you have built and in which tool; whether you have used Odoo and which apps; your availability, start date and hourly rate in USD.
5. Shortlisted applicants complete a paid sample task (GBP 20, about 90 minutes) before any decision.
