About the Role

Meta Ads Specialist for a professional association in couples recovery

We are a professional association that supports couples rebuild after infidelity and chronic deception. Our work is serious and personal. We'll share our organization's name with candidates we invite to interview. We're looking for one person or a small team to run our Facebook and Instagram advertising from start to finish, and to tell us honestly what is working.

What you'll do

Learn our audience. You'll start by interviewing us in depth about who we serve, what they're feeling, and what makes them take the next step.
Build the full funnel, not only cold ads. You'll plan and launch top of funnel campaigns that introduce us to new people, middle of funnel campaigns that build trust, and bottom of funnel retargeting campaigns that invite people to act. This includes building and maintaining custom audiences (website visitors, video viewers, Facebook and Instagram ---------- , and our customer and email lists from GoHighLevel), lookalike audiences, and exclusions so we don't keep paying to reach people who already bought. Retargeting is a required part of this role.
Create the ads. You'll make the static images and short videos for Facebook and Instagram, yourself or with your own team.
Report on results and money. You'll send a clear weekly report showing what's working, what isn't, and what each result costs us: cost per lead, cost per booked call, and return on ad spend. You'll also set up or check tracking (Meta Pixel and Conversions API) so we can follow a person from their first ad to a purchase in our CRM, GoHighLevel.
Work alongside our organic social media. We have an in-house team member who handles our organic (unpaid) Facebook and Instagram posts. You won't be responsible for organic posting, but you'll coordinate with them so ads and posts carry a consistent message, turn strong organic posts into ads, use people who engage with our posts in retargeting, and monitor comments on our ads, working with our team on responses.

You're a strong fit if you have:

At least 2 years of hands-on experience running Meta ads for clients
Experience in coaching, therapy, mental health, wellness, relationships, online courses, or professional training
Proven experience building custom audiences, lookalikes, and retargeting campaigns, with results you can show us
A working knowledge of Meta's ad policies on sensitive and personal topics, and a record of getting rejected ads approved
A portfolio of ads you made yourself
Clear written and spoken English
Some availability during US Eastern business hours for meetings

Nice to have:

Experience with GoHighLevel
Video creation skills beyond basic editing, such as scripting, captions, and motion graphics

What we offer

We offer steady, meaningful work with an organization that helps couples heal. We'll give you a clear brief, quick feedback, and direct access to the people who know our audience best. Strong candidates will be invited to a 30 minute interview and then a small paid trial project of 2 to 4 weeks. If the trial goes well, we'll move to an ongoing monthly agreement.

How to apply

Please apply only through our application form. We don't review applications sent by message or email .

Application form: ----------

The form takes about 25 to 35 minutes and includes a short screen recording (3 to 5 minutes) where you review a few real ads from the free Meta Ad Library. That recording matters more to us than anything else in your application.

To show us you've read this posting, type the word Recovery in the "Job post check" question on the form.

We read every application and look forward to seeing your work.
