Full-Time Design & Measurement

Role Overview

Tampa Bay Holiday Lights creates professional holiday displays and a hands-off experience for customers. This role bridges sales and production by creating renderings, measuring properties, estimating materials, and keeping every design moving toward an installation-ready plan. Must be able to work 9AM-5PM EST

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor the Awaiting Design pipeline and begin new requests quickly, with a target of keeping leads from waiting longer than one hour.
• Review customer preferences and source clear property images through Zillow, Redfin, Google Street View, or customer-provided photos.
• Create clean, realistic renderings using company design standards and Good, Better, and Best options when appropriate.
• Measure rooflines, ridges, landscaping, and special features using Google Earth, property records, or building plans.
• Calculate the bulbs, wire, clips, stakes, timers, specialty materials, contingencies, and labor inputs required for each project.
• Upload the rendering, measurements, and material worksheet; update CRM stages; and notify the CSR when the project is ready.
• Flag insufficient photos, unverifiable measurements, software errors, or unusual property conditions immediately.

What We Are Looking For

• Strong visual judgment and the ability to create polished, balanced, and exciting displays.
• Exceptional accuracy with measurements, quantities, files, and CRM updates.
• The ability to work quickly, manage a high-volume queue, and communicate completion or problems proactively.
• Confidence with design applications, property imagery, mapping tools, and CRM systems.
• Experience in visual design, photo editing, drafting, takeoffs, estimating, landscape design, architecture, construction, or a related field is helpful.

Success in the Role

• Designs are completed quickly and make customers excited about the proposed display.
• Measurements and material estimates are accurate, allowing crews to arrive prepared.
• Files and CRM stages stay current, and the CSR never has to chase design status.
