About the Role

I’m looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Short-Form Video Asset Manager to help with my daily content production workflow.

This is not a full video editing role. Your main responsibility will be reviewing reference videos I provide and finding the visual assets needed for our editor to recreate the content.

These assets may include:

Video overlays
B-roll clips
Screenshots
Images
Screen recordings
Logos
Graphics
Social media clips

Other visual elements shown in the reference video

You will then organize the assets inside the correct Google Drive folder and update our Google Sheets production board so the editor knows the assets are ready.

We currently work on approximately 5–10 short-form videos per day, and this is a 7-days-a-week position, Monday through Sunday. The expected workload is generally around 1–1.5 hours per day, with occasional heavier days that may take closer to 2 hours.

The goal is to complete the asset work early enough each day for our editor to finish the videos and for me to review the final content afterward.

Responsibilities

Review daily reference videos carefully.

Identify the assets and overlays needed for each video.

Find and download the correct or closely matching assets.

Organize files in the appropriate Google Drive folders.

Update the production board when assets are complete.

Communicate directly with the video editor if they need an additional asset or if something was missed.

Respond to messages quickly enough to avoid slowing down the production process.

Complete all assigned work for the day within the required timeframe.

Be available to complete daily assignments Monday through Sunday.

Follow an organized and repeatable workflow.

What I’m Looking For

Reliable and consistent.

Very detail-oriented.

Good at online research.

Able to quickly find specific clips, screenshots, images, and visual assets.

Familiar with TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and short-form content.

Comfortable using Google Drive and Google Sheets.

Familiar with ---------- and preferably already have a ---------- account.

Able to communicate clearly with the editor.

Able to work independently without constant supervision.

Available consistently 7 days per week and able to complete same-day assignments.

Computer Requirement
An Apple/Mac computer is strongly preferred.

Schedule
This is a long-term, part-time position that requires daily availability, Monday through Sunday.

This is not a Monday–Friday role. You should expect to complete work 7 days per week.

Expected workload is approximately 1–1.5 hours per day, with occasional heavier days.

The most important requirement is that the work is completed early enough each day for the editor to edit the videos and for final review to happen the same day.

Pay
Starting pay is $150 USD per month, paid as a flat monthly rate.

There will be a performance review after the first 30 days, with the possibility of increased pay for someone who is consistently fast, reliable, communicative, and able to handle the workload well.

Portfolio / Work Samples
If you have relevant work samples, please include them in your application.

Examples can include:

Short-form videos where you helped find the B-roll, overlays, screenshots, clips, or other visual assets

Content research or social media research you have completed

Asset folders, moodboards, shot lists, or content research documents you have organized

Google Drive folders or other systems you have used to organize media for an editor

Any other work that demonstrates strong visual research, attention to detail, and organization

A traditional video editing portfolio is not required. I’m mainly interested in seeing examples that show you can identify what visual assets a video needs, find those assets quickly, and organize them clearly.

If you do not have a relevant portfolio, please briefly explain any similar experience you have had.

How to Apply
Please include the following in your application:

A short introduction about yourself.

Any experience you have with short-form content, social media research, video editing, or finding video assets.

Any relevant portfolio or work samples.

What computer you currently use.

Your typical daily availability, including weekends.

Your experience using ---------- .

Your experience using Google Drive and Google Sheets.

Please include the word PINEAPPLE somewhere in your application.

Applications that do not include the keyword may not be considered.
