Experienced Website Developer & Designer (Wordpress, WooCommerce, Squarespace)

My small creative marketing agency is looking to hire one experienced website designer and developer for part-time work. This gig will start at approximately 5 to 10 hours per week, with the possibility of scaling in the future.

This designer will work closely with me to design functional, conversion-focused websites for entrepreneurs and small businesses, mostly in the equestrian space. The ideal candidate will have an eye for both design and function.

The ideal candidate has experience working with Wordpress, Woocommerce on Wordpress, and Squarespace or Wix. Experience with mailing list platforms, such as Mailerlite, is preferred.

In this role, the designer will design and build websites from the beginning, working from general notes and guidance but with lots of creative freedom, and improve existing websites.

Requirements:

-Proficient in English
-Experienced with Wordpress, WooCommerce, and Squarespace OR Wix
-Able to both build websites from scratch and improve existing websites
-Has an understanding of design and branding
-Happy to contribute ideas
-Works independently
-Communicates well, asks questions when unsure, and can apply feedback
-Can easily meet deadlines set 1 week in advance
-Available to complete short tasks (less than 1 hour) within 24-48 hours during the week
-Has previously designed websites in the past
