Lead Generation & Sales Operations VA (AI-Assisted): Full-time
Confidential employer
TOK AI Consulting · Remote, Philippines-based · Full-time (40 hrs/week) · USD $600/month base plus performance bonuses (about USD $950 a month once you hit target)
About the role
I'm hiring a Philippines-based VA to build my sales pipeline. The work covers researching the right prospects, keeping my CRM clean, preparing personalised outreach and booking discovery calls.
This is not a general admin role. It suits someone who researches accurately, keeps systems tidy, uses AI tools well, and checks AI output rather than trusting the first draft.
We start with Australia. Europe is added later, as you grow into the role.
About the business
TOK AI Consulting helps founder-led and CEO-led businesses adopt AI in practical, commercially sound ways. That includes AI strategy, AI policy, team training and implementation support. My clients are business owners and senior leaders who value evidence, clarity and doing what we say we'll do. Your work d ---------- which of them I get to speak with.
What you'll do
- Build and update lead lists in ---------- and LinkedIn Sales Navigator from our ideal client profiles, micro-segments and current campaigns.
- Research LinkedIn profiles, company websites and public signals (hiring, funding, leadership changes, public comments on AI) to judge fit.
- Apply our lead-scoring rules and offer-matching logic to d ---------- who gets outreach first.
- Draft first-pass LinkedIn messages and cold email s with templates and Claude (provided by TOK).
- Personalise every message with real company, buyer and trigger-event context. No generic "I came across your profile".
- Keep HubSpot records accurate: contacts, tags, notes, deal stages and follow-up tasks.
- Manage inbox follow-ups and book discovery calls into my calendar.
- Maintain structured files for messaging, offers, objections, signals and sales materials. These are the knowledge files our AI workflows run on.
- Review AI output carefully, and improve prompts or workflows when quality drops.
- Flag patterns, objections and messaging insights that would improve the system.
Must-haves
- 3+ years of VA or sales-support work in at least two of: B2B lead generation, LinkedIn prospecting, CRM administration, outreach support, research, or executive assistance.
- Strong written English. Australian founders notice a sloppy sentence immediately.
- Hands-on use of a CRM (HubSpot preferred), Google Workspace and at least one AI assistant (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or similar).
- Careful research: you can tell a good-fit company from a bad one and explain why.
- High accuracy in CRM work, documentation and follow-up.
- Proof that you have taught yourself a new tool or process and used it in real work.
- A computer, a mobile phone, reliable internet, a backup power or internet plan, and a quiet place to work.
Nice-to-haves
- ---------- or LinkedIn Sales Navigator experience.
- Experience supporting Australian clients or professional-services firms.
- Experience writing or refining AI prompts.
You'll fit well if you are
- Highly conscientious. You check your own work before anyone else sees it.
- Calm and sceptical. You treat AI output as a first draft, not a final answer.
- Commercially curious. You want to understand why a buyer says yes, not just follow the template.
- Coachable. You take direct feedback as information, not as a personal attack, and you improve quickly.
- Independent. You work well once priorities and standards are clear.
What success looks like in 90 days
- You reach Proficient by delivering 25 qualified leads a month for 3 months in a row.
◦ A qualified lead meets our scoring threshold, with the evidence logged in HubSpot.
◦ My weekly spot-check must find fewer than 10% errors.
◦ Reaching Proficient earns a USD $200 bonus.
- Your outreach drafts need only light edits before I approve them (target: [confirm: 8 in 10] approved with minor changes).
- HubSpot is current: every active lead has a stage, a next step and a follow-up date.
- Discovery calls are being booked from warm outreach.
- You have learned at least one new skill on your own (from a course, YouTube or similar) and applied it to the work.
- Our knowledge files are organised and ready for the next campaign.
Working style
- Remote and flexible. Work around family and other commitments.
- Overlap with Australian business hours is preferred, for example 2 hours a day. Perth is on Manila time. Sydney is 2 hours ahead of Manila under AEST and 3 hours ahead under AEDT (October to April).
- Time zones. I travel across APAC and Europe, so I'll sometimes message outside your hours. Reply in your next working session unless I mark the message urgent.
- Deadlines. Occasionally a client deadline needs extra hours or a weekend. It isn't often, and I'll give as much notice as I can.
- Confidentiality. Handling client and prospect data carefully is essential.
Pay and growth [$950 a month once you hit target]
- Base: USD $600/month, full-time (40 hrs/week).
- Call bonus: USD $10 for each qualified discovery call you book. A qualified call means the prospect fits our ideal client profile and attends the call. [target 25 = $250+/month]
- Proficient bonus: USD $200 the first time you deliver 25 qualified leads a month for 3 months in a row.
- Monthly target bonus: USD $100 for every month after that in which you keep hitting 25 a month and quality holds.
- Pay review: your base pay is reviewed at 6 months.
- After 6 months: USD $20/month for an internet upgrade and USD $20/month for an AI tool upgrade.
- After 12 months: a year-end bonus of one month's pay.
- After 2 years: HMO health insurance, and a cash bonus from a share of profits, paid every 6 months.
- After 3 years: HMO for dependents, and 10–15 days of paid time off. [confirm wording: see Section 6]
How fast you earn the bonuses depends on the effort you put into self learning. The fastest VA I've worked with reached full productivity in 3 months. Most take 4–5 months.
The role starts as an independent contractor engagement, paid against agreed outputs. Once the role is stable and closely managed, we may move to an employee or Employer-of-Record arrangement.
