Onboarding Accountant

Remote Manila based | 10:00am–7:00pm Philippine time | Weekends off

Help new clients get off to a great start with Solve Outsource. You’ll take ownership of their accounting transition, get to the bottom of messy records and hand over accurate, reliable accounts to our client service team. Each onboarding brings a new business, a new challenge and a chance to make a visible difference.

What you’ll do

-Review new clients’ accounting records, identify gaps and agree the work needed to get them ready for handover.
-Complete catch-up work and reconcile bank, customer, supplier, VAT, payroll and balance sheet accounts.
-Investigate discrepancies, work with clients and previous providers to obtain information, and help with software migrations.
-Manage several onboarding projects at once, keep clear records and deliver a thorough handover to the ongoing team.
-Work alongside other members of the onboarding team.

What you’ll bring

-An experienced accountant with strong bookkeeping, management accounts and reconciliation skills of at least 3-4 years.
-The confidence to take ownership, solve problems and communicate clearly with clients and colleagues.
-Experience with Xero or QuickBooks Online is a strong advantage; experience working with multiple clients is highly desirable.
-Accuracy, organisation and an interest in learning new systems.
