Sr Electronics PCB Engineer (KiCad – CM4-IO Board Design)

We are seeking a skilled Electronics PCB Engineer to assist in the design and development of a custom CM4-IO (Compute Module 4 I/O) board using KiCad. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with PCB schematic capture, layout, and preparing designs for manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop schematics and PCB layouts using KiCad
• Create a custom CM4-IO board based on project requirements
• Ensure proper signal integrity, power distribution, and EMI considerations
• Generate manufacturing files (Gerbers, BOM, pick-and-place)
• Review and validate designs for production readiness
• Collaborate on component selection and design optimization

Requirements

• Proven experience in PCB design using KiCad
• Familiarity with Raspberry Pi Compute Module 4 (CM4) hardware design guidelines
• Strong understanding of high-speed signals, power management, and PCB best practices
• Experience preparing designs for fabrication and assembly
• Ability to communicate clearly and work collaboratively

Nice to Have

• Experience with CM4 carrier boards or similar embedded systems
• Knowledge of USB, HDMI, PCIe, and other high-speed interfaces
• Previous work with prototype-to-production workflows
