Content & Marketing Virtual Assistant (SEO, Blog & Social Media)

I'm looking for a part-time Content & Marketing VA to help me manage the content for my personal website. I regularly publish articles about marketing, websites, landing pages, business and entrepreneurship, and I'm looking for someone who can eventually help me manage more of the content process from research all the way to publishing and repurposing.

Currently, I have a number of existing articles that need help with uploading images, captions and alt text. From there, I'd like to gradually hand over more of my content workflow if we work well together.

Some of the things you'll help me with include:

• Uploading and formatting blog articles in GoHighLevel
• Uploading images and adding appropriate captions and alt text
• Scheduling and publishing articles
• Keyword and SEO research for upcoming articles
• Researching article topics and gathering useful information
• Preparing article outlines based on research and search intent
• Writing and editing articles while following my writing style
• Adding internal links, images, meta titles/descriptions and other on-page SEO elements
• Repurposing published articles into Instagram/Facebook and LinkedIn posts
• Creating simple Canva graphics/images to accompany articles and social media posts
• Other content, marketing or website-related tasks as needed

I'm not looking for someone who simply follows instructions without thinking. There will be tasks where I'll give you specific instructions, but I'd also like someone who can research, make suggestions, spot something that doesn't look right and ask questions when needed.

You would be a good fit if you are:

• A strong English writer and editor
• Comfortable doing online and SEO research
• Organized and detail-oriented
• Proactive and able to work independently
• Good at communicating and providing updates
• Comfortable asking questions when you're unsure
• Able to follow instructions while also thinking critically about the task
• Reliable with deadlines without needing constant reminders

Experience with GoHighLevel, Canva, ChatGPT and Google Workspace would be helpful. Experience with ClickFunnels and SEO tools is a bonus.

I do use AI in my own work and I'm happy for you to use AI as a tool too, but I'm not looking for someone who relies entirely on AI-generated content. You should be able to research, write, edit and make your own judgement about whether something actually makes sense and is useful to the reader.

There are no fixed working hours. You can generally work on your own schedule as long as we communicate well and agreed deadlines are met.

This will start as a small part-time role of approximately 5–10 hours per week at USD $5–6/hour, depending on experience. If we work well together, I'm definitely open to this becoming a longer-term role with more hours and responsibilities over time.
