WordPress Web Designer & Developer with SEO Experience

We are a UK-based web design and digital marketing company looking for a full-time WordPress Web Designer / Developer with SEO experience to join our team on a long-term basis.

The role will primarily involve designing and building professional WordPress websites using Avada. You will create modern, responsive websites for a wide variety of businesses, work with WooCommerce, make HTML and CSS changes, troubleshoot WordPress issues and make ongoing changes to existing client websites.

You will also be involved with the technical side of managing websites, including migrations, hosting, DNS, SSL, website performance, page speed and Core Web Vitals.

SEO will form an important part of the role. You should have a good understanding of technical and on-page SEO, including keyword research, website structure, page titles, meta descriptions, headings, internal linking, image optimisation, Google Search Console and Google Analytics.

We are looking for someone with strong WordPress skills, experience using Avada and a good eye for professional web design. You should be comfortable working independently from a client brief and capable of taking a website from initial build through to completion.

Good attention to detail, reliability and strong English communication skills are essential.

This is a full-time position of approximately 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Some crossover with UK working hours will be required.
