Social Media & Content Assistant for Music/Spirituality

I’m a professional musician, composer, performer, and spiritual teacher looking for a creative and reliable part-time assistant to help grow my online presence and support my offerings.
A major part of the role will be content creation and social media management. I have a large amount of footage from concerts, performances, talks, spiritual teachings, and other content. I need someone who can go through this material, recognize the strongest moments, edit them into engaging Reels, TikToks, and YouTube Shorts, and help post and organize the content consistently.
It is important that this person has a genuine understanding of or interest in music, spirituality, meditation, consciousness, tarot, personal growth, or related subjects. I want someone who can understand what I’m communicating and develop a feel for my voice, rather than simply making generic social media content.
The role may also include helping promote my music, events, sessions, programs and other offerings, creating or sending promotional newsletters, basic email /outreach, organizing content, and occasional light administrative tasks.
I’m especially looking for someone who can eventually work independently. I don’t want to choose every clip or supervise every post. I want someone who develops an understanding of my work and can recognize what is compelling, beautiful, meaningful, and worth sharing.
Experience with short-form video editing and social media is important. Please send examples of content you have created or edited and tell me briefly about your experience or personal interest in music and spirituality.
Starting at 5 hours per week at $5/hour, with the possibility of increasing the hours and responsibilities if we work well together.
