Appointment Setter / Phone Caller (US Home Remodeling): Base + Commission, Excellent US Accent Required
Confidential employer
Appointment Setter / Phone Caller (US Home Remodeling): Base + Commission, Path to Full Time
We're a US marketing agency that runs Facebook and Google ads for home remodeling companies (kitchens, bathrooms, full renovations). Our ads bring in homeowners who want a quote. Your job is to call them fast, qualify them, and book them for an in-home estimate with our client.
This is a phone job. You will be talking to American homeowners all day, so your accent and how you sound are the #1 thing we hire for. Our operations manager handles all the backend work (building systems, client accounts, software). She will train you and manage you day to day. Your only job is the phone.
What You'll Be Doing
Calling new homeowner leads within minutes of when they come in (they just filled out a form asking for a quote)
Asking a short list of qualifying questions: what project, budget, timeline, are they the homeowner
Booking qualified homeowners onto our client's calendar for an in-home estimate
Making a short recorded confirmation call so the homeowner says "yes, I'll be there"
Following our script word for word, including the call-recording disclosure at the start of every call
Logging every call and outcome in our CRM (GoHighLevel). If it isn't logged, it didn't happen.
Following up with no-answers based on our follow-up schedule
Following US calling-hour rules on every single call (see below)
You'll be working from our exact script and real example calls. We'll share recordings so you can hear:
The tone we want (friendly, confident, never pushy)
How fast a call should move
What a "qualified" homeowner sounds like and what a bad fit sounds like
Calling Hours (Very Important)
We have clients all over the US, from the East Coast to the West Coast, so our homeowners live in different time zones (Eastern, Central, Mountain, Pacific, and Arizona, which doesn't change its clocks). You have to check every homeowner's time zone before you dial, and be ready for your schedule to shift as we add clients in new parts of the country.
US law limits when businesses can call people. Our rule is stricter than the law so we never get in trouble:
Only call between 9am and 8pm in the HOMEOWNER'S local time. Not your time, not Eastern time. A homeowner in Arizona or California is 2–3 hours behind New York.
If a lead comes in after 8pm their time, do not call. Call them first thing the next day, as close to 9am their time as you can.
Sundays: only call between 12pm and 8pm their time.
The best time to reach most homeowners is 5pm–8pm their time, right after work. Expect to make a lot of calls in that window.
Breaking this rule even once is grounds for being let go. No exceptions.
Requirements
Excellent spoken English with a clear, neutral accent that is easy for Americans to understand. This is non-negotiable.
Phone experience: appointment setting, call center, customer service, or sales calls
Available during US afternoon and evening hours, roughly 2pm–11pm US Eastern (2am–11am Philippine time). Homeowners work 9-to-5, so the best time to reach them is after 5–6pm in their own time zone. As we add West Coast clients, the shift will run later (8pm Pacific = 11pm Eastern), so you need to be flexible with your hours.
Quiet place to work, a good headset, and stable internet with a backup (mobile data or a second connection)
Follows a script exactly and takes feedback without getting defensive
Honest. We review recorded calls every week. If you fake a booking or pressure someone into one, you're done.
Bonus (not required, but a big plus):
Experience calling US homeowners (home services, solar, roofing, HVAC, real estate, insurance)
Experience with GoHighLevel or any CRM dialer
Have done "speed to lead" calling on inbound leads before
Compensation & Growth
Base salary: $300/month, paid weekly (about $69 every Friday)
Commission: $10 for every confirmed appointment, paid monthly. That means the homeowner is booked on the calendar and said yes on our recorded confirmation call. Uncapped.
Paid trial: The first 2 weeks are a paid trial. You get paid the same as the job itself: your weekly base (about $69/week) plus $10 for every confirmed appointment. At the end of the 2 weeks, either side can d ---------- it's not a fit, no hard feelings.
Raise: Once you're full-time and hitting your numbers, your base goes up.
Growth: As we add clients, you get more leads, which means more commission. Our top performer moves to full-time with a higher base. We're hiring 1 person now and will add more callers under whoever proves themselves first.
Example: 20 confirmed appointments in a month = $300 + $200 = $500. 40 confirmed = $700. More clients means more leads, so that number goes up.
We pay for confirmed appointments only, not dials, not hours on the phone, not bookings that never get confirmed. If a confirmation turns out to be fake, it's taken back. We want people who book real homeowners who actually show up.
How To Apply:
Applications that don't follow these steps will not be read.
Record a Loom video (2–4 minutes) with your camera ON where you:
Introduce yourself
Tell us your phone experience: what kind of calls, who you called, how many per day
Read the script below out loud like you're on a real call with an American homeowner
Then answer this objection out loud, in your own words: "Can you just give me a price over the phone?"
Send us:
Your Loom link (make sure it's set to "anyone with the link can view")
Your availability in US Eastern Time (which hours, which days)
Your internet speed (screenshot of a speedtest.net result)
Start your application with the words "Remodix Caller" so we know you read this far
The script to read in your Loom:
"Hi, is this Sarah? Hey Sarah, this is [your name] calling from the remodeling team. Just a heads up, this call is recorded for quality. You filled out a form a few minutes ago about redoing your bathroom, is that right? Perfect. I've just got a couple quick questions so we send the right person out. Are you the homeowner? Great. And are you looking to get this started in the next few months, or is it more down the road? Got it. What we do next is have one of our project managers come out, look at the space, and give you an exact price, no guesswork. I've got Tuesday at 10am or Wednesday at 4pm. Which one works better for you?"
If you sound like someone an American homeowner would happily stay on the phone with, and you want to earn more as we grow, we want to hear from you.
P.S. We are a small, fast-growing team. We care about results and honesty more than anything. Show up, follow the system, book real appointments, and you'll grow with us.
