Adobe Premiere Video Editor for Rough Cuts | Immediate Project

I’m a professional painter and online educator looking for a video editor to help me prepare a series of instructional videos over the next 1–4 weeks.

I have quite a bit of raw footage of me painting, teaching, and demonstrating techniques in Photoshop and Procreate. I will be doing the final creative edit myself.

I need someone to do the first rough cut.

Your job will be to:

• Remove dead space and long pauses
• Remove obvious mistakes and duplicate takes
• Speed up or cut through long painting sessions to show progress
• Otherwise leave the content intact
• Keep the Premiere timeline clean and organized
• Return the Adobe Premiere Pro project to me so I can continue editing

That’s it. No music, graphics, captions, transitions, B-roll, zooms, effects, or other creative editing. I’m looking for someone who can work quickly and accurately while preserving my original footage.

There is a significant amount of footage, so immediate availability over the next 1–4 weeks is important.

Once I finish the creative edit, there may also be an opportunity to send the project back to you for basic finishing such as audio cleanup/leveling, color or exposure correction, and final export.

This is initially a project-based position, but I regularly create course and marketing videos, so there may be ongoing work for the right person.

You must:

• Be experienced in Adobe Premiere Pro
• Be comfortable receiving and returning editable Premiere project files
• Be organized and careful with project files and media
• Have good judgment about removing mistakes and dead space without over-editing
• Be able to work through footage efficiently
• Have meaningful availability to begin now
