The work
Editing short-form vertical video for Instagram, TikTok and paid social. Talking-head reels, screen recordings, b-roll cutdowns.
Subtitles, on-screen text, simple motion graphics, sound design.
Building static ads in Figma from existing design systems. Resizing across placements.
Versioning and reskinning existing creative for testing.
Light design: thumbnails, carousels, social graphics.
You need
2+ years editing short-form vertical video professionally
CapCut, plus at least 1 of Premiere Pro, After Effects or DaVinci Resolve
Figma. Working inside existing files with components and auto layout, not starting from blank canvases.
Written English strong enough that on-screen text ships without me correcting it
Fast turnarounds. Most jobs land same day or next day.
A machine that handles 4K footage and stable internet
Nice to have
After Effects motion graphics
Paid social experience. You know what a hook is and why the first 3 seconds d ---------- everything.
Photoshop for retouching
