VA + Appointment Setter - Google Workspace, Google Business Profile & Marketing Tools (US Electrical Company)

ABOUT US
ABC Electric is a new, growing electrical contractor in the Twin Cities, Minnesota, USA. We're looking for our first virtual assistant: someone who is great on the phone, comfortable with technology, and wants to grow with the company from day one.

Type: Full-time, 40 hrs/week
Pay: $6 - $8 USD/hour, based on experience
Schedule: US Central business hours, Monday - Friday (approx. 9:00 PM - 6:00 AM Philippine time)

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Answer inbound calls from homeowners and businesses, book appointments, and take clear messages
• Make outbound calls: follow up on quotes, confirm appointments, call back leads
• Set up and manage our Google Business Profile (listing, photos, reviews, hours)
• Help set up and manage Google Workspace: user accounts, shared Drive folders, Gmail, Calendar
• Support marketing (email campaigns, review requests, lead follow-up in the CRM, using AI tools to draft content) and general admin (scheduling, data entry, CRM upkeep)
• Help build simple systems and checklists as the company grows

WHAT YOU NEED

• 2+ years of phone experience with US customers (call center, sales, customer service, or VA work)
• Clear, natural spoken English with a neutral, easy-to-understand accent
• Hands-on experience with Google Workspace and Google Business Profile (GBP), plus marketing tools: Mailchimp or similar email marketing, GoHighLevel or another CRM, and AI tools like ChatGPT or Claude
• Reliable internet (25 Mbps or faster) plus a backup connection or power source
• A quiet workspace and a noise-cancelling headset
• Comfortable working US daytime hours

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience in home services (electrical, HVAC, plumbing, roofing, painting)
• Experience building automations in GoHighLevel, or using Jobber, Housecall Pro, or ServiceTitan

Part 1 - Answering a call

Can I get your full name and the best phone number to reach you? ... Great. And what's the service address? ... So that's 4817 Maplewood Drive, Eden Prairie, Minnesota, 55344. We have an opening this Thursday, October 15th, between 8 and 10 in the morning. Does that work for you?"

Part 2 - Following up on a quote
"Hi, is this Mr. Henderson? This is [your name] calling from ABC Electric. I'm following up on the estimate we sent last week for the 200-amp panel upgrade and the two new GFCI outlets in your garage. The total came to $3,450. Did you have any questions I can answer, or would you like to get that on the schedule?"

Part 3 - Leaving a voi cemail
"Hi Sarah, this is [your name] from ABC Electric, just confirming your appointment tomorrow at 1:30 PM for the EV charger installation. If you need to reschedule, please call us back at ---------- . Again, that's ---------- . Thanks, and have a great day!"
