Video Editor – Cut YouTube Videos into Facebook & Instagram Clips (Part-Time, Long-Term, USD 400/month)

We're a family science and animal YouTube channel with 6 million subscribers. We're turning our long videos into Facebook and Instagram videos, and we need one dedicated editor to own it. Part-time, long-term, work every week.

THE WORK

• We send you one of our YouTube videos (12-17 minutes) with a short brief.
• You cut it into 3–5 longer videos (4–6 minutes each) and 10–16 short clips (60–120 seconds each). Every piece opens on action and ends on a cliffhanger.
• You reframe each piece to our layout spec (exact sizes and reference screenshots provided - you build the CapCut or Premiere Pro template once in week one), add captions, export MP4s, and log each piece in a Google Sheet.
• One video a week, around 15 pieces, 15–20 hours. First 3 pieces back within 2 days so we can start posting; the rest by the end of the week.

YOU

• CapCut Pro or Premiere Pro, and you've cut short-form for Facebook , Instagram or TikTok before.
• Good English - you'll caption spoken English and choose cut points from dialogue.
• Internet that can download a 5-10 GB file.
• You watch your own clips on a phone before sending them.
• Available to start this week.

PAY
USD 400/month, paid twice a month via EasyPay or Wise. Raise after 60 days if quality holds.
Start with a paid test: 3 short clips and one 5-minute version of one video, built to our spec, USD 50, due in 48 hours. If it's good, you start Monday.
