About the Role

We’re looking for a skilled editor to turn provided podcast footage into polished 30–60-second videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.

We provide AI-generated footage, audio, and creative direction. Your job is to make each clip feel like a natural podcast conversation, look consistent, and hold the viewer’s attention.

We want someone with strong editing judgment who knows which moments to keep, when to cut, and how to make a video feel finished.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Edit provided footage into 30–60-second podcast clips.
  • Cut between speakers naturally and keep the conversation flowing.
  • Remove awkward pauses, repetition, and weak sections.
  • Create a strong opening and maintain tight pacing.
  • Add accurate, readable captions and well-timed text.
  • Use punch-ins, sound effects, and supporting visuals where they improve the clip.
  • Match colour, lighting, framing, and audio levels between shots.
  • Spot unnatural expressions, lip-sync problems, or other AI issues and flag footage that needs replacing.
  • Export finished vertical videos ready for posting.
  • Make revisions based on feedback.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • Experience editing podcasts, interviews, or conversational videos.
  • Strong judgment around pacing, speaker cuts, and short-form hooks.
  • Clean captioning, colour correction, and audio editing skills.
  • Proficiency in CapCut, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or a similar editor.
  • Attention to detail and reliable communication.

Experience with AI-generated footage is a bonus. Strong podcast editing samples matter most.

PAY AND TRIAL

  • $5 USD per approved 30–60-second video.
  • The same $5 rate applies during the paid trial.
  • Footage, audio, and creative direction are provided.
  • Trial: two clips, paying $10 USD if both are approved.
  • Clips requiring changes can be revised and resubmitted.
  • Successful applicants will be considered for ongoing work.

HOW TO APPLY

Start your application with “podcast” and include:

1. Direct links to 2–3 relevant videos you edited. Include at least one podcast or interview clip.
2. A brief explanation of what you personally did on each sample.
3. Choose your strongest clip and explain why its opening, pacing, and speaker cuts work.
4. Your editing software and any experience working with AI footage.
5. Your availability, typical turnaround time, and earliest start date.

Samples are required. Send relevant work rather than a general portfolio with no explanation.
