Job Description: We are looking for an enthusiastic, detail-oriented, experienced, and knowledgeable medical scribe to assist our clients' healthcare team with documenting patient medical records.

Responsibilities:

• Provide the highest quality of documentation to provide a hands-off-chart experience to physician without compromising with information and privacy.
• Update all the pertinent health information of the patient the chart
• Maintain and demonstrate a wholesome understanding of the team approach to patient care and healthcare documentation.
• Create orders for lab, imaging, referrals, prepare medication, put billing code and follow up
• Coordinate care with MRA team and address all the required MRAs in consultation with the physician
• Take up an active role in training colleagues and guide them on best practices regarding conduct and high-quality documentation.
• Complies with clinical and medical facility policies, including those relating to HIPAA and Joint Commission.
• Attend ongoing training and courses to keep abreast of new developments in health care

Desired profile:
Education: Graduation in medical or healthcare related degrees, any degree or diploma in Nursing
Experience: Any scribing related experience would be a plus.
Employment: Full time starting with 3 months’ probation period, permanent EST timings, 5 days a week with fixed weekend off. Work from home.
Salary: Based on experience and value added to the company

Skills required:

• Ability to learn new software or tools
• Basic understanding of ICD-10-CM coding, EM billing.
• Ability to adapt physician working style
• Good typing skills (minimum 30 WPM).
• Comply with organization guidelines and health care laws and regulations
• Good Knowledge of Medical Terminology, Medical Abbreviations, clinic workflow.
• Communicate professionally and respectfully to the supervising physician and office teams.
• Be responsive to improvement opportunities in a positive manner.
• Must have own computer with all technical arrangements and good internet connection to work from home.
