About the Role

Our company is hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to be the daily contact with our overseas textile factory. You'll place and track purchase orders from quote to warehouse delivery, and check that what arrives and what we're billed match what we ordered.

What you'll do
Manage daily communication with our factory on quantities, specs, pricing, and production timelines.
Prepare purchase orders from our demand planner's reorder quantities, verify pricing, MOQs, terms, and full-carton quantities, and send them once approved.
Maintain a single tracker of every open PO and its expected arrival date.
Track shipments from production through ocean freight to our Los Angeles warehouse, and flag delays early.
Match receiving counts and supplier invoices against each PO, and document any discrepancies.

What we're looking for
2 to 4 years in purchasing or supplier coordination for a physical products company.
Direct experience communicating with an overseas factory, ideally in China.
Experience with the full PO process and matching invoices to POs.
Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills, including XLOOKUP and pivot tables.
High accuracy, and a habit of checking your own work before it goes out.
Fluent written and spoken English.
Nice to have: textiles, home goods, or apparel experience; familiarity with ocean freight and Incoterms; Mandarin.
Details

100% remote, based in the Philippines.
Full-time, with hours overlapping US Pacific Time.
$700 to $1,200 USD per month, based on experience.
