Real Estate Video Editor Wanted (BUYING AND SELLING CONTENT)

We are a real estate agency based in Amsterdam, Netherlands, and we are looking for a talented and creative Video Editor with real experience in real estate content.

This is not just a one-time project. We are looking for 1 or 2 editors who can work with us long term and help us consistently create high-quality short-form video content.

What we are looking for

You should have strong experience editing content for:

• Real estate agents
• Property tours
• Buying and selling real estate content
• Talking head videos
• Instagram Reels
• TikTok videos
• Educational real estate content
• Personal branding content for agents
• Property marketing videos

Experience working with real estate agents in Europe is highly preferred, especially in countries such as the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, France, Spain, Portugal or the UK.

Because we operate in the Dutch real estate market, we want someone who understands the style, audience and positioning of European real estate agents.

Your editing skills

We are looking for someone who understands more than basic editing.

You should be good at:

• Creating strong hooks in the first seconds
• Fast and engaging pacing
• Storytelling
• Clean subtitles and captions
• Smooth transitions
• Pattern interrupts
• Sound effects
• Music selection
• B-roll placement
• Zooms and motion
• Colour correction
• Creating professional but native-looking social media videos
• Keeping viewers watching
• Understanding what makes real estate content perform on social media

You should also be creative enough to make suggestions yourself instead of simply following instructions every time.

Language

You must speak and understand English fluently.

Understanding Dutch is a big advantage, but it is not required.

Payment

We work with a fixed price per edited video.

Our starting budget is approximately €5 to €10 per video, depending on the type and complexity of the video.

We need a high volume of videos every week, so this can turn into consistent and long-term work for the right editor.

Rates can also be discussed based on your experience, quality, turnaround time and the complexity of the editing.
