Graphic Designer (Social Media)
Confidential employer
We’re a London-based creative and social studio working mainly with premium, editorial fashion, beauty, wellness and lifestyle brands.
We’re looking for a Graphic Designer to support the day-to-day design work across multiple client accounts.
This role is focused on creating considered digital assets from established brand identities, creative direction and visual systems. You’ll be working across social content, campaign assets, presentations and other digital touchpoints depending on the project.
We care much more about taste, consistency and attention to detail than overly complicated design.
Clean layouts, considered typography, consistent spacing and a strong understanding of the wider visual world are EXTREMELY important to us. You should be able to look at a brand and understand not only which fonts and colours it uses, but why certain imagery, layouts, crops, textures and compositions belong within that world.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Design social media assets including carousels, static posts, Stories and Reel covers
- Create digital campaign and launch assets
- Work from existing brand guidelines, moodboards and creative direction
- Maintain strong visual consistency across different formats
- Adapt established visual identities into new layouts without making everything feel repetitive
- Work with typography, hierarchy and spacing to create clean, refined layouts
- Build and maintain cohesive social media feeds so each brand feels visually consistent and considered
- Create moodboards and visual direction for brands, campaigns and content shoots
- Support the art direction of shoots, including references, styling direction, composition, framing and overall visual feel
- Translate a brand’s wider visual world into practical shoot direction and social content
- Create presentation and deck assets where needed
- Prepare files in the correct dimensions and formats for digital use
- Make design revisions based on feedback from the creative team
- Keep design files, folders and working documents organised across multiple client accounts
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- 2+ year of experience in graphic design or a similar role
- A strong portfolio, particularly across premium, editorial or lifestyle-led brands
- Excellent understanding of typography, hierarchy, spacing and composition
- Strong attention to detail
- Confidence working with clean, minimal layouts where small design decisions matter
- Ability to understand and maintain an established visual world
- Good image selection and cropping instincts
- Ability to work consistently across multiple assets without losing the identity of the brand
- Comfortable working across several client accounts at once
- Strong Canva skills
- Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator or InDesign experience is a bonus
- Good written English
- Comfortable receiving detailed visual feedback and making precise revisions
YOU’LL PROBABLY BE A GOOD FIT IF…
- You notice when two margins are slightly different.
- You care about whether something is aligned properly, even if most people wouldn’t consciously notice it.
- You understand that minimal design is often harder than adding more elements.
- You can look at a moodboard and understand the visual language behind it, rather than simply copying individual references.
- You know the difference between something that looks premium and something that is simply minimal.
- You think carefully about image crops, line spacing, type scale, negative space and how each element relates to the rest of the composition.
- And you’re comfortable working within an established visual system while still finding ways to make each piece feel considered.
WORKING SETUP
This is a remote role with a flexible schedule, but we require daily overlap between 10AM-3PM GMT for collaboration, feedback and approvals. You’ll work closely with our small creative team and will usually receive established brand direction, references and content before beginning the design work.
