Video Editor – E-commerce Short-Form Ads (Nordic Markets) – Full-Time, Start Immediately

We are an e-commerce business selling products in the Nordic markets (Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland). We're looking for a Video Editor to create short-form ad videos for our online stores. Voiceover audio is provided ready-to-use, and your job is to combine it with clips and subtitles into polished, high-converting ads.

This is a high-volume role: you will make around 10-15 real, finished short-form videos per day. Speed, consistency and attention to detail matter as much as creative quality.

Responsibilities:

• Edit around 10-15 short-form ad videos per day for Facebook , Instagram, and TikTok
• Sync provided voiceover audio with clips, cuts and pacing
• Find matching clips yourself when needed (TikTok and other sources), and use AI-generated clips only when no real clip can be found, and only if they look realistic
• Add clean, correctly spelled subtitles synced to the voiceover
• Make sure no competitor brand names or logos appear in any video
• Follow provided scripts, briefs and style guidelines exactly
• Deliver all videos on time, every day

Requirements:

• Proven experience editing short-form ads for e-commerce/DTC brands (portfolio required)
• Experience with Nordic or European e-commerce brands is a strong plus
• Able to handle 10-15 videos per day consistently without sacrificing quality
• Strong attention to detail: correct subtitles, no split words, no spelling mistakes, no visible brand names
• Comfortable using Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, or DaVinci Resolve
• Comfortable working with voiceover and scripts in languages you don't speak (Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, Finnish). The script text is always provided, so you never need to translate
• Reliable internet connection and own equipment
• Available for time-tracking software (Time Doctor/Hubstaff) during work hours
• Good written English communication skills

Hiring process:

2. Paid trial task: you will edit 6 short videos. You get paid once you have completed the test and sent the videos.
3. Full-time offer if the trial goes well

About the trial task: To make sure you feel safe and know this is not a way to get free work, you are welcome to put a watermark on all 6 trial videos. That way I cannot use them for anything. The trial is only there to see if you have what it takes to work with me.
