About the Role

Senior Accounts Receivable & Bookkeeping Specialist

**Remote

Full-Time | U.S. Eastern Time Hours

Eagle Production Co., a U.S.-based professional equipment rental and live-event production company, is looking for an experienced Senior Accounts Receivable & Bookkeeping Specialist to join our team remotely from the Philippines.

We are looking for a high-level, experienced accounting professional who can take real ownership of accounts receivable, payment application, collections, reconciliations, and day-to-day bookkeeping.

This is not an entry-level bookkeeping role.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage accounts receivable and monitor outstanding customer balances.
  • Apply incoming ACH, wire, check, and credit card payments accurately.
  • Match payments to invoices and resolve unapplied or unidentified payments.
  • Perform customer account reconciliations.
  • Proactively follow up on past-due invoices and manage collections.
  • Communicate professionally with customers regarding outstanding balances.
  • Maintain detailed collection notes and follow-up schedules.
  • Communicate internally when payments are received or when customer accounts require attention.
  • Work closely with our sales, operations, and management teams.
  • Assist with bank and credit card reconciliations.
  • Maintain accurate records in QuickBooks.
  • Assist with general bookkeeping, reporting, and accounting support as needed.
  • Identify discrepancies or accounting issues and take ownership of getting them resolved.

What We’re Looking For

  • Multiple years of professional accounting, AR, or bookkeeping experience.
  • Previous experience working remotely for a U.S.-based company is strongly preferred.
  • Advanced working knowledge of QuickBooks.
  • Strong accounts receivable and collections experience.
  • Experience managing a large number of customer invoices and open balances.
  • Strong understanding of payment application and account reconciliation.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Confident communicating directly with U.S. customers regarding collections.
  • Highly organized and able to manage follow-ups without constant supervision.
  • Strong judgment and ability to recognize when an issue needs to be escalated.
  • Team-oriented and proactive about communicating payment and account updates internally.

Collections Experience

We are specifically looking for someone who already understands how to run an effective collections process.

You should have your own organized approach for:

  • Aging reports
  • Follow-up schedules
  • Email and phone collections
  • Tracking customer promises to pay
  • Escalating seriously overdue accounts
  • Maintaining collection notes
  • Prioritizing accounts by age, balance, and urgency

We do not want to teach someone the basics of collections from scratch. We want someone who can bring experience and structure to the role.

Working Hours

This position follows U.S. Eastern Time business hours, approximately 8:00 AM–5:00 PM ET, Monday through Friday.

For someone in the Philippines, this is an overnight position, generally approximately 8:00 PM–5:00 AM PHT while the U.S. is on daylight saving time and 9:00 PM–6:00 AM PHT during standard time.

Candidates must be comfortable consistently working this schedule.

Technology & Home Office Requirements

Because this is a fully remote role, candidates must have:

  • Reliable high-speed internet
  • Reliable computer and professional home-office setup
  • Backup internet or a reliable contingency plan for internet outages
  • Quiet professional workspace suitable for customer phone calls
  • Ability to reliably access company systems during U.S. business hours

What Success Looks Like

We are looking for someone who takes ownership of the numbers.

Payments are applied quickly and correctly. Past-due accounts are followed up consistently. Customer balances are accurate. The team knows when money comes in. Problems are identified early rather than discovered weeks later.

The right person should eventually be able to own the AR function with minimal day-to-day supervision while remaining closely connected with the rest of our team.
