Position Summary
We're looking for an organized, dependable Repossession & Remarketing Coordinator to manage every repossessed vehicle from A to Z. That means from the moment a vehicle is recovered until it's sold, the money is received, and the account is closed out correctly. You'll coordinate with auctions, transporters, the DMV/Secretary of State, locksmiths, and our internal team so that every vehicle moves quickly and every file is complete and compliant.

Key Responsibilities

Repossession Intake

Receive repossession assignments and confirm each vehicle's recovery, location, and condition
Document personal property found in vehicles and coordinate its return according to company procedure
Open and maintain a repossession file for each account

Redemption & Notices

Send required post-repossession notices on time
Track redemption and reinstatement periods and confirm whether the customer is redeeming before a vehicle is released for sale
Communicate with customers about redemption options and payoff amounts, following company guidelines

Vehicle Preparation & Assignment

Assign vehicles to the right auction and schedule pickup and transport
Apply for titles, including duplicate or repossession titles when needed, and track them until they're received
Order replacement keys when needed
Get vehicles condition-reported and ready for sale

Sale & Disposition

Monitor auction listings, sale results, and pricing
Post vehicle sales to customer accounts accurately
Confirm and reconcile sale proceeds received from the auction
Make sure the disposition letter (deficiency or surplus notice) is prepared and sent correctly and on time
Close out or transfer accounts for deficiency collection once the sale is complete

Reporting

Keep an up-to-date inventory of every repossessed vehicle and its status (recovered, redemption period, at auction, sold, funds received)
Report on time-to-sale, recovery amounts, and outstanding titles and proceeds

Required Skills

Organization: Keeps many vehicles and deadlines moving at once without anything falling through the cracks
Attention to detail: Posts sales, tracks titles, and prepares notices accurately
Communication: Clear, professional phone and email communication with auctions, vendors, customers, and state agencies
Follow-through: Owns each vehicle from repossession to final disposition
Knowledge: Auto repossession, auction remarketing, title processing, and loan servicing experience strongly preferred
Fast learner: Picks up our systems and procedures quickly

Schedule

Full-time, minimum 40 hours per week, 5 days a week
Shifts are 8:00 AM–5:00 PM ET or 9:00 AM–6:00 PM ET
We're open Monday–Saturday, so the schedule includes one day off during the week
