Part-Time Video Editor | Premiere Pro | Potential to Grow Full-Time

Appalachian Media is looking for a part-time video editor to help create Instagram Reels, real estate videos, and occasional wedding and concert content. We’re starting at approximately 20 hours per week, with the potential to grow into a full-time role quickly as our workload increases.

What you’ll work on:
Edit short, engaging Instagram Reels from footage and creative direction we provide.
Create real estate videos that show each property clearly and keep the pacing strong.
Assist with wedding films and concert recaps, including footage selection, syncing audio, and rough cuts.
Organize footage and deliver clean, editable project files for our final review and finishing.
Adobe Premiere Pro is required. Some assignments will be rough cuts that we finish ourselves, so you must be comfortable sharing Premiere project files with organized timelines and properly linked media. Experience working with proxy footage is a plus.

We’re looking for someone with a good sense of story and pacing who can choose the strongest shots, remove shaky or out-of-focus footage, and take feedback well. You should be comfortable editing both vertical and horizontal video and communicating clearly about deadlines and progress.
