About the Role

Founder’s Associate — AI, Automation & Executive Support

Remote | Long-Term | High-Intensity | Exceptional Growth Opportunity

I’m looking for an unusually hungry, ambitious, and resourceful person to work directly with me at Profit Launch, a growing U.S.-based business consulting company.

Please read this entire post before applying.

This is not a traditional virtual assistant job.

It is not a comfortable 9-to-5 where you complete the same checklist every day, wait for someone to assign your next task, and clock out.

This role will be demanding.

There will be a lot to do. There will be tight deadlines. There will be unfamiliar problems. There will be times when we are moving extremely fast and need to get something figured out immediately.

I am looking for someone who wants that environment.

Someone hungry enough that they don’t just want a job — they want an opportunity to become extraordinarily capable.

If you’re looking primarily for work-life balance, predictable days, narrow responsibilities, or an easy remote position, this is probably not the opportunity for you.

But if you’re early in your career and thinking:

“Give me a shot. Put me in the room. Give me hard problems. Let me learn everything I possibly can. I want to see how far I can go.”

The Opportunity

You will work directly with the founder across virtually every area of Profit Launch.

You won’t be hidden inside one department doing one thing.

You’ll get exposure to:

  • AI and automation
  • Business strategy
  • Operations
  • Marketing
  • Sales
  • Finance and business economics
  • Client delivery
  • Systems and processes
  • Recruiting
  • Technology
  • Research
  • Entrepreneurship
  • Building and scaling a company

Some days you’ll research a market.

Other days you’ll build an AI bot.

You may analyze business data, troubleshoot software, organize a project, research prospects, improve an internal process, build an automation, create a dashboard, prepare something for a client, or solve a problem neither of us has encountered before.

You will regularly be given assignments where you don’t immediately know the answer.

That’s intentional.

Your response needs to be:

“I’ll figure it out.”

Then actually figure it out.

Hunger Matters More Than Almost Anything Else

I can teach you our business.

You can learn new software.

You can improve your technical skills.

You can learn how we sell, market, operate, and deliver for clients.

I can’t teach you to be hungry.

I’m looking for someone with an unusually strong internal drive to improve their life and become exceptional at what they do.

You should want more responsibility.

You should want difficult assignments.

You should want feedback.

You should want to learn things nobody asked you to learn.

You should be the kind of person who gets curious about something at work and spends time figuring it out because you genuinely want to understand it.

I want someone who looks back after 12 months and barely recognizes the professional they were when they started.

This will require a lot from you.

There may be long days.

There will be periods of high intensity.

Sometimes something important will need to get done and we will simply need to figure out how to get it done.

I care far more about results, ownership, and growth than titles or rigid job descriptions.

In exchange, I intend to invest heavily in the right person.

You’ll have direct access to the founder, visibility into how businesses are actually built and operated, exposure to real business problems, access to AI and technology, and opportunities to take on responsibilities far beyond what someone would normally receive in an assistant position.

I can’t promise where that will take your career.

What I can promise is that if you’re exceptional, I will not intentionally keep you small.

As your capabilities grow, I want your responsibilities, opportunities, and compensation to grow with them.

AI & Technology Are Core to This Role

I don’t want someone whose idea of being “good at AI” is asking ChatGPT to write an email .

I want someone who is genuinely excited about building with AI.

You should be comfortable with or eager to master tools and concepts such as:

  • Grok
  • ChatGPT
  • Claude
  • AI agents
  • AI bots
  • Custom AI workflows
  • AI-powered research
  • Automation platforms
  • APIs
  • Webhooks
  • Software integrations
  • CRMs
  • Project-management platforms
  • No-code and low-code tools
  • Spreadsheets and data analysis

Grok is particularly important.

Ideally, you already understand Grok and have experience creating or configuring Grok bots, agents, automations, or workflows.

If you don’t know how to build something we need, that doesn’t automatically disqualify you.

But saying “I don’t know how to do that” and stopping there absolutely will.

Research it.

Ask AI.

Read the documentation.

Watch tutorials.

Experiment.

Break something.

Fix it.

Try again.

Figure it out.

You do not need to be a software engineer.

You do need to be technologically fearless.

What You’ll Do

Your responsibilities will evolve constantly, but may include:

  • Building and managing AI bots, agents, and workflows
  • Building with Grok and other AI platforms
  • Researching and implementing new AI tools
  • Creating AI-powered internal business systems
  • Automating repetitive processes
  • Connecting different software platforms
  • Conducting market, competitor, industry, and prospect research
  • Learning new software quickly
  • Managing projects and keeping initiatives moving
  • Working inside our CRM and project-management systems
  • Building dashboards, spreadsheets, reports, and presentations
  • Organizing SOPs and company knowledge
  • Analyzing business information
  • Coordinating with team members and contractors
  • Supporting client-related projects
  • Handling executive and administrative responsibilities
  • Identifying inefficiencies and proposing solutions
  • Taking loosely defined ideas and turning them into completed projects

Ultimately, your job is simple:

Make the founder more effective and help Profit Launch move faster.

The Person I Want

High Integrity

You do the right thing every time, no matter what. Honest and genuine is who you are, and everyone around you knows it.

Extremely hungry

You don’t want an average career.

You’re actively trying to increase your skills, capabilities, income, responsibility, and opportunities.

High-agency

When something needs to happen, you make it happen.

You don’t constantly wait for permission or instructions.

Resourceful

Google it. Ask AI. Read documentation. Find someone who knows. Test something.

You exhaust your options before declaring something impossible.

AI-native

AI is part of how you operate every day.

You’re constantly experimenting with ways to accomplish more with it.

Technically fearless

You enjoy learning new software and figuring out how systems work.

Fast

You move with urgency.

Business-minded

You’re genuinely interested in entrepreneurship, marketing, sales, operations, finance, and growth.

Coachable

You don’t get defensive about feedback.

You want feedback because getting better matters more to you than protecting your ego.

Reliable

If you say you’re going to do something, I shouldn’t have to wonder whether it’s going to happen.

Proactive

Eventually, I want you bringing things to me before I even realize they need attention.

This Role Is NOT For Everyone

Please do not apply if you’re looking for:

  • An easy remote job
  • A traditional 9-to-5 mentality
  • Highly predictable working days
  • A narrow job description
  • Minimal responsibility
  • Someone to walk you through every task
  • A position where you can disappear after completing your checklist
  • A job where you can comfortably coast

There are plenty of good jobs built that way.

This isn’t one of them.

I’m looking for someone who wants to run toward responsibility, not away from it.

Where This Can Go

The title may say Founder’s Associate.

I don’t particularly care about the title.

I care about what you become capable of doing.

Someone exceptional could potentially progress from:

Founder Support → Founder’s Associate → AI/Operations Lead → Management → Significant Leadership Responsibility

There is no guaranteed promotion schedule.

You earn responsibility by demonstrating that you can handle responsibility.

But I don’t want to hire someone exceptional and keep them doing assistant-level work for years.

If you become capable of operating at a much higher level, I want to give you the opportunity to operate at that level.

My ideal hire becomes one of the people I trust most in the company.

How to Apply

Start your application with:

LAUNCH

If your application doesn’t begin with that word, I will assume you didn’t read the posting.

Then answer the following questions:

1. Why do you want a role this demanding?

Don’t tell me what you think I want to hear. Tell me what you’re trying to accomplish with your life and career and why an intense opportunity appeals to you.

2. Show me something you’ve built using AI.

Explain what it does, which tools you used, what you personally built, and why you built it.

3. Tell me specifically about your experience with Grok.

Have you built Grok bots, agents, automations, or workflows?

If yes, explain what you’ve built.

If not, tell me exactly how you would teach yourself.

4. What is the hardest thing you’ve taught yourself in the last 12 months?

How did you learn it?

5. Tell me about a time someone gave you a task you had absolutely no idea how to do.

What happened next?

6. Imagine I tell you:

“I want an AI system that researches potential Profit Launch prospects, determines whether they match our ideal customer profile, and gives our sales team the qualified prospects.”

You’ve never built this exact system before.

Walk me through how you would figure it out.

7. Tell me about a time you worked significantly harder than what was expected of you. Why
