About the Role

THE ROLE

You'll build and run the production tools our operations teams depend on: dashboards, integrations, AI assistants, and automations that connect the platforms we use. Most of the work involves integrations. You'll pull data from several third-party systems, reconcile it, and get it to the right person at the right time.
You'll also take working prototypes, often built quickly with AI tools, and make them production-ready.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Build full-stack internal apps. Modern front ends, reliable back ends, and cloud deployment.
  • Own integrations. Build and maintain API integrations, webhooks, and sync jobs. Handle rate limits, retries, pagination, and data that doesn't match across systems.
  • Make prototypes production-ready. Add authentication, error handling, logging, tests, and access control, and get them through architecture review.
  • Build AI features. Build LLM-powered assistants, classification and flagging, and search over operational data. Include evaluation and cost controls.
  • Run what you ship. Own monitoring, alerting, i ---------- response, and performance fixes.
  • Manage infrastructure cost. Track hosting and API spend as usage grows, and flag cost risks early.
  • Replace fragile automations. Move critical no-code workflows into maintainable code once they outgrow their tools.
  • Document as you go. Write READMEs, runbooks, and data flow notes so any teammate can pick up a tool.
  • Help build our AI agents. Set up agents for development and testing, and design the guardrails that keep a person in the loop.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • 3+ years of professional software engineering, including production full-stack work
  • Strong JavaScript/TypeScript and a modern front-end framework, plus back-end experience
  • Real experience with third-party REST APIs, webhooks, OAuth, and background jobs
  • SQL and data modeling
  • Hands-on work with LLM APIs: prompting, structured output, tool use, and the ways they fail
  • Security fundamentals: authentication, secrets management, input validation, and least-privilege data access
  • Comfort owning a system end to end, from build to support
  • Clear written communication for async work

NICE TO HAVE
Experience deploying on cloud platforms
Experience with no-code and low-code automation
Exposure to hospitality, property management, or construction software
Experience using AI coding tools with a disciplined workflow that includes code review and tests

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
30 days - Has local setup and deploy access for every production app. Has shipped a fix to production.
90 days - Owns at least two production tools. Has taken one prototype through review to production.
3 months - Every tool they own has monitoring, documentation, and a runbook. Alerts catch integration issues before users report them.
