Ready Movers is looking for a talented AI Automation & Integration Engineer to join our team for the long term.

We’re a fun, motivated and fast-growing Australian removals company, opening multiple branches each year. As our business expands, we’re investing in the technology, automation and internal systems that will support our next stage of growth.

We need someone who can turn ideas into working solutions, take ownership and help us build a smarter, more connected business.
This is not a “build it, hand it over and your job is done” position.
New branches mean new requirements. Growing teams mean new opportunities to improve. There will be ongoing integrations, new applications, further development and systems that need to evolve with us.

We’re looking for someone who wants to be part of that journey.

What you’ll build
Working directly with management and teams across the company, you will help shape how Ready Movers uses automation, AI and custom business applications.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Business-wide integrations: Connect our CRM, operational systems, communications, accounting and reporting platforms using n8n, APIs and webhooks.
• Custom CRM and internal applications: Develop and improve dashboards, databases, workflows and features that support our sales, operations, customer service and management teams.
• Practical AI solutions: Build AI assistants, agents and integrations that reduce administration, improve communication and make information easier to access.
• Better business processes: Work with our people to identify repetitive tasks, eliminate duplicate data entry and recommend useful improvements.
• Long-term system ownership: Test, document, monitor, maintain and improve what you build. Getting something live is the beginning—not the finish line.

Who we’re looking for
You’re a proven builder—not just someone who knows how to use ChatGPT or list the latest AI tools.

You have hands-on experience delivering automation, integrations and business applications in real working environments. You can show us what you personally built, explain how it works and demonstrate the difference it made.

Your technical experience should include n8n or comparable automation platforms, APIs, webhooks, databases and authentication, with practical coding ability in JavaScript/TypeScript and/or Python.

You should also have experience developing or extending CRMs and internal applications, and implementing AI through APIs and business workflows. You understand that reliable systems need appropriate permissions, secure data handling, error recovery and documentation.

You don’t need to know every product we use. You do need strong technical foundations, sound judgement and the ability to learn quickly.

This is an experienced technical position—not an entry-level role or a general administrative VA position.

How you work matters
You take ownership and follow through. You communicate clearly, ask good questions and can explain technical ideas to people without a technical background.

You don’t need someone to map out every step. You can sit with a team, understand their challenges, recommend an approach and deliver a solution.

You also know when to keep things simple. We’re not interested in adding AI to everything for the sake of it—we want improvements that genuinely help our people and our customers.
