Location: Remote — Philippines preferred

About the Role

We are a growing chimney sweep and repair company looking for an AI-first Full-Stack Developer to manage and improve our internal CRM, website, SEO, PPC, API integrations, and React Native mobile app.

This is not a traditional “write every line manually” developer role. We provide a Devin Desktop team account, and we expect you to use Devin, and similar tools to move fast. You will act as the architect and reviewer: prompting AI, checking its output, and making sure the code is secure, scalable, modular, and production-ready.

Tech Stack

· Frontend: React, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS
· Backend: Node.js, Redis

· Infrastructure: Digital Ocean, GitLab CI/CD
· CMS: WordPress
· Marketing: SEO, Google Ads, Google Analytics 4
· AI Tools: Devin Desktop team account provided

Key Responsibilities

1. Internal CRM — Maintain and improve our custom CRM built on Node/React.
2. API Integrations — Connect scheduling, invoicing, lead, payment, and communication tools.
3. Website & SEO — Manage WordPress and React apps. Handle technical SEO, on page and off page, RankerX, and GSA SER VPSes, schema, page speed, and local SEO.
4. PPC & Analytics — Monitor Google Ads and GA4. Build simple ROI dashboards.
5. Mobile App — Maintain our React Native app for customers/technicians.
6. DevOps — Manage deployments on Digital Ocean via GitLab pipelines.
7. AI Orchestration — Use the provided Devin Desktop team account to generate, refactor, test, and document code. You review and approve before merge.

Must-Have Skills

· Proficient in Node.js, React, TypeScript, Tailwind, Redis, GitLab, Digital Ocean
· Experience with WordPress, SEO, Google Ads, Google Analytics
· Experience with React Native
· AI-friendly: You already use Devin, Cursor, ChatGPT, or similar daily
· Strong understanding of .env files and secrets management
· Strong understanding of security, scalability, and modularity

Environment & Secrets Management

You must know how to:

· Never commit .env files to Git
· Use .env.example for documentation
· Store secrets in GitLab CI/CD variables and Digital Ocean environment variables
· Keep dev, staging, and production environments separate
· Rotate API keys and tokens safely
· Handle OAuth tokens, webhooks, and third-party credentials securely

Security Requirements

You should be comfortable with:

· OWASP basics: XSS, CSRF, SQL injection, secure headers
· JWT/session auth, RBAC, audit logs
· Input validation and sanitization
· Secure webhook verification
· Dependency updates and vulnerability scanning
· Encryption in transit and at rest

Scalability Requirements

You should understand:

· Redis caching and session storage
· Background jobs, queues, and rate limiting
· Database indexing, pagination, and query optimization
· Stateless services and horizontal scaling
· CDN usage and Digital Ocean scaling options
· Keeping the system stable as leads, users, and data grow

Modularity Requirements

We want clean, maintainable code:

· Reusable React components and Tailwind design system
· Typed API contracts and service layers
· Separation of concerns
· Monorepo/workspaces where useful
· Clear folder structure and documentation
· Easy to swap or upgrade integrations without breaking everything

Nice to Have

· Home services experience in regards to SEO and PPC
· Local SEO and call tracking experience
· Docker, Zapier/Make, n8n, or automation experience
· Experience managing both marketing and development tasks
