CapCut Video Editor for an Optometrist’s Instagram Reels

I’m a UK optometrist creating short videos about eye health, dry eyes and eyelid care. I’m looking for an editor who can turn my raw footage into engaging Instagram Reels while keeping the videos natural and true to my personal style.

Most videos will be talking-head content. I’ll provide the footage, topic or script, and examples of the editing style I like.

• Edit 30 vertical videos per month in CapCut, ready for me to post approximately one per day.
• Cut mistakes and unnecessary pauses while keeping my delivery conversational.
• Add clear, accurate captions, text overlays and occasional sound effects.
• Add relevant supporting visuals when needed.
• Check the spelling of eye-health terms carefully.
• Deliver finished 9:16 videos and the editable CapCut projects.
• Make one reasonable round of revisions per video.

What I’m looking for

• Experience editing Instagram Reels, TikToks or YouTube Shorts in CapCut.
• A good sense of pacing and storytelling.
• Strong written English and attention to detail.
• Reliable communication and consistent delivery.
• The ability to follow style references and apply feedback.

Payment and long-term opportunity

The pay is $350 USD for 30 completed videos per month ( 1 video per day) . For the first month, I’ll pay $175 upfront and $175 at the end of the month once all 30 videos have been delivered.

I’m looking for someone to work with long term. If you’re reliable, meet deadlines and consistently create edits that fit my style, I’d like to continue working together. Pay will also increase, over time, as my channel and business grows.
