About the Role
You will be responsible for developing a functional and user-friendly web-based platform and iOS/Android applications for managing customers, jobs, field service activities and reporting.
Key responsibilities will include:
Designing and developing responsive, user-friendly websites and web applications.
Developing and maintaining iOS and Android applications for field-based staff.
Building job management and field service functionality.
Developing secure databases to store and manage customer, job and service information.
Creating systems for customer and job data entry, management and retrieval.
Developing automated reporting and document generation functionality for customers and end users.
Developing and integrating APIs and third-party services where required.
Ensuring systems are secure, reliable, scalable and easy to maintain.
Troubleshooting, testing and resolving technical issues.
Providing ongoing development, improvements and technical support as the business and systems evolve.
About You
We are looking for someone with a strong Information Technology and software development background who can take a project from concept through to a functional, reliable solution.
You will ideally have experience with:
Full-stack web development
iOS and Android application development
Database design and management
Backend development and APIs
Cloud-based systems and services
User authentication and data security
Report and document generation
System integration
Software testing and troubleshooting
Git or other version-control systems
You will be a practical problem solver who can work independently, understand business requirements and translate them into effective technology solutions.
