Video Editor - Short Form Content (Part-Time, Remote)

I'm looking for a video editor for my short-form content work with feminine lifestyle brands - think mommy/daughter content, sweet and lighthearted. This is an ongoing role with consistent work.

What you'll be editing:
Short-form clips, 30 seconds or under. The style is clean, simple, and story-driven. Beautiful montage work that moves to the music - not hype-style jump cuts or flashy transitions. If your reel is all gym videos and aggressive cuts, this probably isn't the right fit.

You need to:

Edit in Premiere Pro
Cut to the beat of music naturally - this is central to how we edit
Color grade your own projects
Add sound effects and ambient audio where needed
Handle multiple deliverables per week on a fast turnaround
Be responsive and available during the project cycle

The right person for this:
You have an eye for pacing and story. You pick music that actually fits the brand - soft, warm, on-feeling - not just whatever sounds trending. You can take raw footage and shape it into something that feels intentional and cohesive. You bring creative instincts to the edit rather than waiting to be told every cut.

Commitment:
Part-time, roughly 30-40 hours per month with consistent ongoing work.

Edit 1 video using the footage in this folder. Include the best scenes, find appropriate music, color grade to your best ability, and make sure the details of the scene and product come through clearly - especially the bounce house and decor. Deliver a 30-second video. We can't wait to see what you create.
