Full Stack Web/Desktop/Mobile App Developer with AI expertise

About the Role
We're building Atlas — a team of AI agents that helps healthcare practitioners (physical therapists, chiropractors, and similar) build and grow their practices, built on Laravel, PHP, React, Next.JS.

We're hiring a developer to join the Atlas build. This is primarily a hands-on engineering role: you'll be writing code, building integrations, and shipping features and managing the app. Looking for someone who works fast, overdelivers and always willing to step in to do than what is asked of them!

What You'll Do

• Build and maintain Atlas's product
• Design and build the AI agents that do the actual work for practitioners
• Build integrations that pull in and normalize data from the practitioner's existing tools
• Solve data-identity and dedup problems
• Debug production issues, write clean and maintainable code, and keep documentation current
• Collaborate directly with the founding team — move fast, ship often, iterate based on real practitioner feedback

What We're Looking For

• Strong Problem Solving Skills
• Strong experience with Laravel, Next.js/React and TypeScript,
• Solid backend experience with Postgres, Digital Ocean, Cloudflare, Forge, schema design, RLS, edge functions
• Hands-on experience building workflows/automations in n8n (or comparable tools like Zapier/Make)
• Experience building with or integrating LLMs/AI agents (function calling, agentic workflows, RAG, etc.)
• Comfortable working with REST APIs and webhooks across multiple third-party platforms
• Strong SQL skills — able to write and reason about non-trivial queries
• Can work independently, communicate proactively, and move at speed — we move fast and ship often
• Comfortable working remotely with a US-based team, with solid overlap for daily communication

Nice to Have

• Experience with AI/LLM tooling (Claude, OpenRouter, or similar) — we use Claude Code as part of our build workflow
• Prior experience in a SaaS or healthcare-adjacent product
